@MikeCosper @conservmillen has consistently been critical of Trump mistakes, but in the end as many people do, she thinks Trump is a better option than Kamala.

Regarding the “phenomenon” that you’re talking about, both sides do that, but she is honest about her opinions.

Richard Dawkins recently expressed his desire for Britain to retain its Christianity. He enjoys Christmas, cathedrals, & Christian virtues, and he’d prefer these things over the Islamification the UK is currently facing.

But, of course, Dawkins has himself and others like him to blame for the waning influence of Christianity in the West. He’s made his millions mocking Christians, calling our faith dangerous and delusional.

What’s delusional, of course, is expecting a tree to bear fruit after you’ve uprooted it, or, as C.S. Lewis wrote, demanding the function of an organ after you’ve removed it from the body. It is absurd to urge the application of a principle after you’ve attempted to invalidate it.

“No, that bicycle can’t hold you, but you should definitely still ride it.” This is the incoherence Dawkins is positing. Then again, atheism is inherently incoherent, so perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised.

However, I have hope Dawkins can be saved. Perhaps as he continues to see the contrast between Christianity and other belief systems he will recognize that it’s not only a belief system that leads to human flourishing, but that it is true.

Paul gloried in the execution of Christians, only to be transformed by a confrontation with Christ. Turning hearts of stone into hearts of flesh is not too hard for God; it’s what He does. He can change Dawkins’s, too.
