Everyone should reread Fauci’s last minute pardon. The most conspicuous detail has always been the date, 2014, which happens to coincide with Fauci approved funding routed through Daszak for gain-of-function experiments on coronaviruses at the Wuhan lab. That work was then paused after an NIH official flagged it as prohibited gain-of-function, and quickly restarted under mysterious circumstances, as acknowledged by Daszak in thanking NIH for restoring the funding. Fauci then went on to lie to Congress about it.

These are established facts, so the only real question is whether Fauci should be charged. Normally, there is a strong argument against it given the pardon, however unconscionable it may be, since it does cover the conduct in question. That said, there is still the unresolved autopen issue, and given that the statute of limitations expires on May 11, there is a serious argument that charges should be filed to preserve the case on the record.

Britain under Starmer talks a big game about “global Britain” while quietly slashing capability, courting CCP-linked cash, and letting its own streets burn under the weight of demographic transformation and speech codes that make the old East German Stasi look libertarian.

You lecture us about values while your own government criminalizes tweets and turns Rotherham into a cautionary tale the media still refuses to fully autopsy.

Historically, the ledger is even more damning. We bled for you in 1917 and 1941 when your empires were on the ropes.

We bankrolled your reconstruction, anchored your defense for the entire Cold War, and let you punch above your weight on the world stage because sentimental Anglosphere nostalgia still meant something.

In return? Suez 1956, where you expected us to back imperial nostalgia while we were trying to contain Soviet expansion.

Vietnam, where you sat it out. Iraq, where you half-assed it and then spent the next twenty years sneering at us in your broadsheets. And every single time an American president dared put America First, your commentariat wailed like Victorian widows about the death of the alliance...as if the alliance was ever meant to be a suicide pact.

You’ve internalized a victimhood narrative so profound it borders on the clinical...projecting your own national decline, your own loss of agency, your own self-inflicted castration onto the one country that still possesses the will to act like a great power.

Trump doesn’t “deprioritize” the relationship; he simply refuses to indulge the delusion any longer.

He sees what you refuse to admit:

the United Kingdom of 2026 is no longer the reliable offshore balancer of 1945.

It’s a mid-tier European power wrestling with internal entropy, elite disconnect, and a demographic trajectory that makes long-term strategic partnership… let’s just say, complicated.

Some legislators are claiming the legislation seeks to fix a mistake in 2018 that waived sovereign immunity. That argument proves that those advancing that argument don't understand what sovereign immunity is nor do they comprehend the constitutional doctrine of separation of powers. If a legislator asserts sovereign immunity as a basis for this legislation, they may lack the fundamental capacity to serve as a public steward although they likely are perfectly suited to be part of a non-constitutionally based government.

Tennessee Firearms Association has been advocating for decades that Tennessee's statutes that criminalize conduct protected by the Second Amendment. Its Republican governors and the Legislature under the Republican super majority have repeatedly failed to repeal those statutes such as the "intent to go armed" statute, the "parks" statute and others.

In August 2025, after several years of litigation, a three-judge trial court unanimously ruled that Tennessee's "intent to go armed" and "parks" statutes violated the Second Amendment.

Yet, Governor Lee and Attorney General Skrmetti decided to appeal that ruling in order to keep the unconstitutional statutes in place and infringing constitutionally protected rights.

Then, in 2026, some Republican legislators have filed bills yet again to try to address the state's clear violation of the rights protected by the Second Amendment. Suddenly, in light of that court ruling, it appears that there is a broader interest of the Republicans in the Legislature to deal with the constitutional crisis.

The pleas of TFA and citizens that were intentionally ignored are now being reconsidered following the unanimous trial court ruling.

One must wonder if some of these legislators would now be supporting changing these laws if citizens had not sued the state and won in the trial court.

It should never have been necessary for citizens to sue the state and win for legislators to merely do what the oaths to abide by the constitution have always required.
