@kianna_kerkin@xashleighharris@educationgovuk BTEC exams are cancelled and will be assessed in line with A-Levels. That is unless you are doing a course which requires you to complete the exam for occupational competency.
@1lolitabonita @nidaimrs For BTEC Nationals optional units were cancelled, but all internal units need to be completed as normal. External units are cancelled.
@_HowardFlanagan@RosieCl15421128@GavinWilliamson@educationgovuk I don't know. I know some of mine is going for standards verification. But the exams are cancelled as per the tweet I was replying to, unless it is for a course where the exam needs to be done to prove occupational competency,
@_pr1ncely@btecvoices@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour@KateGreenSU@btecvoices need to make it really clear that students who's colleges called off the exams need to be awarded a grade based on evidence No student should have their exam cancelled and have to wait until the summer.
@btecvoices@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour@KateGreenSU@tobyperkinsmp maybe you could help push this? Remember that students taking exams in January should receive a grade reflective of the same teacher assessment subject to other qualifications.
@nicolerixyy Exactly my position. Was given reassurance only yesterday that students entered in January would get a grade in January with enough evidence. https://t.co/hq2tp1Neiv
@d_fitton@btecvoices@AoC_info I don't think you understood what I put: I was making a point that students in January who's colleges cancelled exams should receive a grade period
@btecvoices@AoC_info Push for ALL students who were entered for the January BTEC assessments to receive a grade consistent with a teacher assessment (the exact same as A-Level and GCSE). NO student entered in January should have to continue with their exam until summer. Please make this clear.
