But Windows 11 is frankly a can of worms that I'd rather not upgrade to even if it has features I want such as WSA and a new, responsive UI...

Let me change default apps easily.

@chronic Our IP doesn’t even offer IPv6 but the provided router supposedly technically supports it but they disabled it. Then there’s old game consoles including the Nintendo Switch (but others technically have their online services shut down now that I think about it).
