Oh No!! Out of perfect, good, fair & bad Mr. Hall told Mama I have fair conduct. Yes I'm talking before grace. Yes I'm boisterous at the dining table. Yes I'm disorderly in the dormitory and I have poor conduct in the common room hall. Heck, I'm still 10 #Dec29th. #MitchellsMKE

My eyes are not feeling well lately. I need to go downtown to the eye doctor. While I'm there I could walk down to the harbor and watch grandpa's Milwaukee Road trains pull into the station, and the scooners tie up at the docks. Hope I'm ok for confirmation tomorrow.

Hooray!!! Graduation from grammar school at Racine College is coming soon. Can't wait to start at Columbian University and be with the family in D.C.. Until then, I'm finalizing reservations for my post graduation tour of Europe. #MitchellsMKE

I hope Mother doesn't think I'm not studying. My marks are slipping, but teachers here are no good, except for Mr. Robinson. I could be learing more at Columbian. I received addmission papers and could try to test in without having taken all my cumpulsories here. #MitchellsMKE

Thanksgiving meal here at school was better than past meals. They booted the old cook so that helped. Food was getting pretty bad. I'm staying in today becuase it is COLD! Was -8 this morning. #MitchellsMKE

Papa & I had a sports talk in our last letter. Agreed: cricket is as exciting as baseball but safer than football. Papa says its grand cultivating muscle, nerve & courage, but football, at present, is too savage & results too frequently in permanent injury. #MitchellsMKE

Holy moly! Papa is no also-ran; sent me a letter on Senate letterhead. Wish I could be in Washington with the family, but Columbian University in D.C. says I need to complete all my compulsaries; June 1895 can't get here fast enough. #MitchellsMKE

From the Racine harbor I can see the three masted scooner that went aground at North Point. She's way up on the beach and they can't get her down. With a telescope you can see Milwaukee very planely from North Point #WindPointLightHouse. #MitchellsMKE
