The #JiribamMassacre is a heart-wrenching tragedy that no one should witness. A 10-month-old baby, along with 3 women and 3 children, brutally murdered—eyes missing, bodies found in a river.
Survivors like Telem Uttam Singh, who lost his wife and 8-year-old daughter, and Yurembam Sandhiya Begum, who lost her mother and sisters, are left shattered and broken.
This unimaginable pain must not go unanswered. The perpetrators must face swift, severe justice. We owe it to the victims, and to humanity, to ensure they are never forgotten.

🚨BREAKING | The bodies of the 11 KUKI Terrorists shall not be given until the 6 Abducted Meiteis are released safely: Home Affairs ( MOHA)

As per the Home Ministry 's Instruction, DG Assam Rifles has already reached Churachandpur to negotiate the safe release of the 6 abducted Women and children.

The bodies are currently kept in Silchar Medical college for Post Mortem. And the Kukis were let known before the start of the postmortem process itself, that the bodies shall not be given until they return the 6 abducted Meiteis.

Meanwhile the #Kukis are currently protesting in Silchar, Assam that they will not go back until the bodies are given back to them.
The Assam Police have also given a statement saying, "This is Assam and not Manipur and you shall be not allowed to do whatever you want ", and have chased them away.

Had this child lost his life that day, organizations such as COTU, KIM, ITLF, KSO, KNO, UPF, WKZIC, and KWOHR would have likely mobilized to present him as a young victim allegedly killed by the Manipur Police, Arambai, CRPF, and other forces. The involvement of child soldiers by groups currently under a peace agreement with the Government of India is now unmistakably clear.
