Not enough people talk about Albert Belle:
• .295/.369/.564 (.933 OPS, 144 OPS+)
• 40 HR, 130 RBI, 347 TB per 162 games
• The only 50-2B / 50-HR season ever
• Higher OPS than Aaron & Robinson
• More HR than DiMaggio & Kiner
• Top 8 in MVP voting 5x in 6 years (!)
• Perhaps subjectively the scariest to face
• During 7-year peak from 1993-1999, batted .308/.391/.602 (.993 OPS) and averaged 45 doubles, 44 homers, 137 RBI, 114 runs scored, and 372 total bases per 162 games; Belle essentially averaged Miguel Cabrera's 2012 Triple Crown season every year for 7 years.
Somehow, This Man appeared on just two HOF ballots, receiving 7.7% of the vote on his ballot debut in 2006 and falling off entirely after garnering just 3.5% in 2007.
