@Gabriel_Pogrund She's (supposed to be) my MP. Now I know I was right NOT to vote for her. Her predecessor (Jim Cunnigham) was a good man. If a by-election takes place, that'll be her finished. She's an activist, therefore, useless.
@Glinner Quick to forget, some folk. I've personally never liked the idea of relying on other countries to provide the necessary goods and services we need. Covid proved how fragile that system is. Our own "leaders" need to wake up!
@mayer_perry@loudpedal360@jamiehogarth@IsabelOakeshott Own my own home. Many vehicles. Holidays to nice parts of the world. I'd say rather well. Zero background of wealth or "old" money. Just graft and not expecting others to pick up my slack. Owe nothing. Owed nothing.
@SkyNews Come January, when Trump takes over, this'll all be sorted out. Dread to think what will happen if Harris wins next week.
It's scary to know it's all down to the American voter. π¬π
@MailOnline Couldn't give a tinkers fig. Why bang on about this when we're clearly heading for a far worse recession than that of the late 2000's? Priorities.. but I suppose what actually matters doesn't make a "good" story..
@andyww1@MahyarTousi Agreed.. however.. if Reform can gain enough seats to come 2nd, we'll finally have a viable opposition who'll hold Stammer (not a typo) and his cronies to account. It may also hammer home WHY Labour only win when the Tories make a right balls-up if it.
@CountDankulaTV The exact same thing began for myself in April. Takes some adjustment, but we're still very much good friends and the kids get to enjoy two different worlds without conflict. All the very best to you and yours. β€οΈ
