Following the conclusion of the 2025/26 season, Paul Jones has announced his retirement from professional football.

During nearly six years at the club and close to 128 appearances for the Linnets, Paul played a hugely important role in the club’s success and was a respected leader within the dressing room.

After a long and distinguished career that showcased remarkable longevity, we thank Jonah for his outstanding service and wish him every success in the future. He will always be welcome back at the Docherty Walks 💙💛
