A showreel I made back in 2016. The #underwater world is full of wonders.
I am so grateful that now I can be part of a community that vows to protect and conserve our #ocean.
#Marinebiologist rocks.

Wishing everyone a very happy first day of semester from the #BakerLab!
In particular, big shout out to our own @Wilson_WZY, the newest PhD student in the lab 🤿 Excited to see what the next academic year has in store 🥳

Bats do not just fly in the sky - here we have the cute little ‘sea bats’

This is what it looks like when a pyjama shark lays an egg: a whole lot of twirling! Watch 'til the end and you'll see she's attaching her egg case (often called a mermaid's purse) to a sturdy piece of kelp with the egg's long curly tendrils. / 📷: Katy P.

5) Finally my last tweet of the #labthreads. I want to share a video I filmed and edited a few years back when I #scubadive for a living. Let’s all take a minute to appreciate the beauty of the ocean and then work to conserve it for the generation to come.

4) Working as a research assistant means I have the opportunity to get involved in different research projects to expand my knowledge. It also allows me to do a little bit of everything with great #marinebiologists. #livingthedream
3) To be able to better conserve the #marineenvironment, in 2019, I started my MSc study in environmental management at HKU. In my master's research, I used photogrammetry to build #3DModels to quantify #coral surface area and volume growth under different treatments.
2)I first tried scuba diving in 2013 & fell in love with the world underwater. I started my journey as a @padi scuba diving instructor in 2015 & had the opportunity to dive with manta rays and bull sharks. More importantly, I got to teach people how to blow bubbles underwater 🧼
