Social media influencer Manjeet Kaur, 28, was nearly seven weeks pregnant when she died in hospital after allegedly being abducted from Chandigarh and set on fire in Morinda, according to her autopsy report.

Kaur died during treatment at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh on August 26, nearly two months after she suffered severe burn injuries.

A woman, Madhu Singh allegedly died during a stampede at a mass Rakshabandhan celebration organised by BJP leader and Mayor Umesh Gautam and his son's Parth Foundation at the Bareilly Club Mela Ground.

Yesterday, Bareilly Police had put out an update saying 'There have been no reports of any casualties'.
Later they out out one more update saying "An information about a woman's death was received through social media. Upon contacting the woman's family, it was learned that they had performed her last rites. No written complaint has yet been filed by the family"
