Inspired by this and also missing Amazon Chime's reliable 2-minute meeting alerts, I created Meetings Countdown Pro.

@elchefe NFS and SMB and basically will run for years without needing any attention, get a TrueNAS appliance. I use those for things like TimeMachine backups and media storage for Plex.
@elchefe all of your devices. The photo app is very nice too and you can also access everything via standard file protocols so you are not locked in. The UX on those devices is great. I use Synology for my personal docs, photos, etc. If you just want a place to dump stuff that supports
@g_bonfiglio Been a @Fastmail customer for 3 years now after moving off of GSuite for personal stuff. They are MX for all of my domains. For domains that are just email and a simple redirect, I use them for NS hosting. For others, Route53 with MX, SPF, and DKIM recordss pointed to Fastmail.
@ranman The aging Boeing fleet is a problem for Delta. United Polaris business class on one of the Dreamliners is a great experience.. If you can get it. Delta is still my go to for now because of the consistency in quality.
@g_bonfiglio It’s amazing. Replaced the https://t.co/KuZfjsfw0b and nginx combo for reverse proxy for all my personal stuff. Love how you can generate a single static binary incorporating ACME DNS plugins like Route53.
Had to re-scan ID documents and enter my address information manually 3 times. This isn’t even supposed to start until tomorrow, so I have a feeling I’ll have to go though it again at ORD on the way back.
I just had to go through the new mandatory “ID Upgrade” for @Clear at @LGAairport and it was a complete shitshow. Wasted 20 minutes and nothing worked.
@Tailscale@mullvadnet Would have expected the DNS queries would follow whatever the OS routing table says. If I was specifying a local DNS, it would use the LAN or whatever subnet router was advertising that route. For a server on the internet like NextDNS, would expect it to use the exit node.
@Tailscale@mullvadnet When using a Mulvad exit node with Override local DNS enabled (I use a NextDNS profile for ad and tracker blocking) is it expected that the DNS queries are not routed via the exit node? I’m seeing my NextDNS requests come from my local IP on iOS/MacOS.
@ranman As a bonus the categories you define then just show up as a Group By or Filter criteria in Cost Explorer and an additional data column in the CUR.
@ranman You absolutely could pull this together in multiple steps with Cost Explorer, but it takes more time, and there is nothing preventing you from double counting. With Cosr Categories, you would define these rules with a value returned for each BU, first rule wins.
