We specialize in helping extraordinary seed-stage founders on a mission to improve the health of people and planet

[Enveda @enveda]

Today we are announcing a $311M Series E to bring pharma into the 21st century.

Enveda started with a thesis: a molecule that evolution has already refined is a better place to begin than one designed from scratch. This year, two first-in-class molecules discovered by Enveda (ENV-294 and ENV-308) had positive readouts in humans. Many more are behind them.

We are grateful to @CatalioCapital for leading this round, to our new investors Durable Capital Partners, @ICONIQCapital, @lightspeedvp, Surveyor Capital (a Citadel company), accounts advised by @TRowePrice, @digitalisvc and Alderline Group, and to @BaillieGifford, @PremjiInvest, @trueventures, @KinnevikAB, @FPVventures, @_DimensionCap, @lifeforcecap and @Lux_Capital for continuing to back us.

The best is yet to come…

@enveda was built on a very contrarian bet we first believed 7 yrs ago, that AI could help us effectively revisit nature as a vast source of new medicines; @viswacolluru's vision has led to 17 newly discovered drugs, with 2 in the clinic & more to come

[Wireframe Ventures @WireframeVC]

The opportunity is not to bet against the buildout. It's in what the buildout is missing: the coordination layer, the utilization gap, and all that existing capacity sitting idle. Read the full story from our SF Climate Week panel. https://t.co/gJskgy8Fya

AI needs more power. But most of it already exists. The demand is real, and probably even larger than forecast. But there's a number that should change how you think about this.

[Wireframe Ventures @WireframeVC]

And the contracts backing the headline buildout announcements? "Lots of outs — lots of outs. The guys with the biggest money are covered." The risk isn't distributed the way the press releases imply.

[Enveda @enveda]

We are proud to announce our latest milestone at Enveda:

FDA IND clearance and first patient dosed for ENV-308, our first-in-class oral therapy for obesity.

GLP-1s changed expectations for weight loss. But they also raised challenging questions:

Can patients stay on them long term?

What happens after weight loss?

Who can realistically access injectable medicines on a global scale?

ENV-308 is a once-daily oral small molecule designed with exciting potential for durability, tolerability, and real-world use. It’s built for long-term metabolic health, not just short-term weight loss. And it’s designed to fit into everyday life, earlier in care and over years, not months.

Obesity is a chronic disease. Solving it at the population scale will require new tools, new thinking, and medicines designed to last.

This milestone is a first step.

And yes, we are now a multi-asset clinical-stage company!

Raising $150M wasn’t the only headline.

Discovery is nothing without delivery
ENV-294, our lead drug for #atopicdermatitis, has entered Phase 1b. A completely new way of tackling this disease, and potentially others across #inflammation, is playing out in patients.

Experience that shapes the industry
Mikael Dolsten joins Enveda. Former CSO of Pfizer, with 36 approvals and 150+ candidates. He knows what it takes to turn science into #medicines that matter.

This is just the beginning.

Celebrating another incredible milestone for @wireframe family co @enveda. Using AI to find new cures from nature & power a diverse pipeline of high value assets entering the clinic.

[Enveda @enveda]

How we built a unicorn from seed in 5 years…

There are no secrets, but purpose, pace, and an incredible team certainly help.

“We’re combining ancient ancestral wisdom with the power of nature’s chemistry with modern AI and drug discovery,” Colluru said. “We’re standing on the shoulders of maybe the giant, which is Mother Nature.”

Read more by @damiangarde in @business about how we raised our Series D, advanced our lead candidate in atopic dermatitis to Phase 1b, and brought on a pharma legend Mikael Dolsten as we prepare to enter more programs in the clinic this year... and stay tuned for more.

Exciting milestone for Argon AI—we’ve raised a $5.5 million seed round led by @CrosslinkCap and @WireframeVC , with support from @ycombinator , @pioneer_fund , and industry operators.

Grateful to our customers for their trust and our investors @ThePhilBoyer, @harsh1, @DaveMessina, @SurbhiSarnaSF and countless others for believing in Argon's vision.

We believe AI will fundamentally reshape how biopharma companies and life science consultancies operate.

Argon's mission is to give biopharma & life science consulting teams an AI-native workspace that turns scattered data into decision-ready insights in minutes—not weeks.

Early partners are already elevating their teams away from the data-drudgery that plagues the industry towards higher-order tasks — science, strategy, and domain specific taste and intent.

This capital lets us accelerate building new products and features to delight our partners.

And huge kudos to the Argon team—your speed and grit make the impossible routine!

Onward!

“Our mission isn't just to uncover nature's chemistry, it's to translate these discoveries into treatments that could change lives today.” Enveda’s founder @viswacolluru spoke with @bbc about how life’s chemistry is a critical source of new medicines in #TheNextFrontier series.

[Enveda @enveda]

Why we are here...

At Enveda, we’re unlocking the secrets of life’s chemistry and harnessing billions of years of evolution to bring #hope to those we love.

We are proud to tell our story in #TheNextFrontier, a global series presented by the @Biotechnology Innovation Organization and produced by @BBCStoryWorks Commercial Productions.

Together with world-renowned biochemist and bestselling author Nick Lane, as well as leading metabolomics researcher, Pieter Dorrestein, we delve into how nature, one of the most powerful yet unexplored sources of medicine, is helping us understand the molecular basis of life and guiding us to develop groundbreaking treatments for today’s most urgent health challenges.

On the cover… The Great Unknown: Chemistry’s Untapped Frontier in Understanding Life

Behind every groundbreaking biological discovery lies a hidden chemical dance—millions of unseen reactions occurring every second. Our research published in @GENBiotechJrnl spotlights #chemistry as biology’s final frontier and how AI is elucidating these invisible reactions. This insight will revolutionize and redefine our understanding of not just life, but what it means to be alive.

Honored and excited to see our work featured on the cover of GEN Biotechnology Journal! It’s time for chemistry to take center stage. Read the full article written by our very own Dan Wee, PhD and Tendai Chisowa, PhD: https://t.co/LsXd8WHLEi

More than a clinical milestone – this marks real momentum for our lead asset.

Our first-in-class oral therapeutic, ENV-294, cleared a major Phase I milestone with favorable safety results and it's showing potential to transform care for #atopicdermatitis patients. Read more: https://t.co/qhM28L6d89

Why does this matter?

Because 200M+ people worldwide live with atopic dermatitis—yet, there’s a massive unmet need for safe, effective, and convenient options.

We are excited to be launching our Phase 1b trial later this year, designed to further evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, target engagement, and early signs of efficacy in atopic dermatitis patients… stay tuned.
