Did you know WF is built by meteorologists?
Our experience in the field has guided every development decision. It's what makes WF so powerful.
And we're grateful to be the platform of choice for a rapidly-growing number of professionals in meteorology, storm chasing, and weather-adjacent industries!

@EverythingWX Love it. EW has been my go-to for local wx for quite a while. I like that your focus is the data and alerting - it fills a much-needed gap.
Shout at me if you ever want to talk about Western Weather Group station data integration.

Have you ever seen something like this?
Check out this visualization of water flowing through rivers in the Lower Mississippi Valley as thunderstorms meandered through the region over the last 24 hours.
The Streamflow products included with the MRMS suite from @NOAANSSL provide a one-of-a-kind way to visualize the evolution of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Streamflow - or how much and how fast water is flowing down rivers - is represented in units of volume per second and is available from 3 different water balance models: CREST, SAC-SMA, and Hydrophobic.
NWS Meteorologists use these products to monitor the risk of flash flooding. You can access the full suite of FLASH products from MRMS on WeatherFront!
