Despite women’s invaluable contributions to preventing and resolving conflicts, they are often excluded from negotiating tables and peace process at large. For peace to be achieved, women who r 50% of the society & who r raising the other 50% must be included in processes.

The National Independent Human Rights Commission In Somalia which is crucial body with mandate of ensuring human rights for all is yet to be established. The power sharing formula (4.5 system) is huge challenge to the formation of the body. Govt must prioritize this urgently.
