@NotSure15933706@DUSKdev It’s more like denouncing everyone getting a camera installed in their bathroom so that some people can intermittently take 240p pictures of their poops
@BowlOfSpagooter@loljordenlol@ordheist https://t.co/bLEnpiSGQp the full clip in question. If anything he’d empathize with you since it seems like you’ve not found that 1 out of 10 movie or game that will change your brain chemistry for good even if you don’t know why.
@BowlOfSpagooter@loljordenlol@ordheist I think you’re getting hardcore ragebaited by a non-full clip because he’s not even blaming the audience of said media property. He blames corporatization and companies like Disney and Warner Bros for putting out product with the least path of resistance possible
@BowlOfSpagooter@loljordenlol@ordheist Like I can’t explain why my favorite game is a free indie visual novel about teenagers in the Soviet Union in a way that would make sense to anyone but I remember every emotion I felt while experiencing it like it’s seared into my soul and that’ll never go away.
@BowlOfSpagooter@loljordenlol@ordheist The point is can you like something without needing to justify it by expressing some objective metric for why you liked it. Do you like Pulp Fiction because it’s a critically acclaimed film or because the mixture of music and performance made you ascend to cloud 9 on first watch.
@deleteduser0060@BeesBadIdea @kafhimeslunch You do realize that without EoS, they would continue making content, meaning you wouldn’t be able to unlock everything because new things would outpace the rewards you are given, right?
Like HI3 has been around for almost a decade and you still can’t own everything as an F2P
@paperweightorde@teatalee@small_R_revy Funger 1 is infinitely more a knowledge skill check than a luck one. You can (and people have) beaten the entire game while purposefully manipulating their RNG to be abhorrent. Defending in Funger 1 is also insanely OP and blocks any limb loss and coin flip attacks.
@elmongosaurio3@zulashaken She OD’d and is now a revived corpse brainwashed for the Doctor that rezzed her. We do get a good perspective on how she feels about Isaac and her’s relationship because of the soundtrack but she didn’t necessarily become “good” or “bad” cuz of the mind control.
@Chidubemm0@yandhiisntreal The funniest part is like 90% of people didn’t believe it or were in such complete disbelief until full videos were recorded. I remember thinking someone was just photoshopping shit until videos started to surface for it
@Chidubemm0@yandhiisntreal Not data mining. A single person happened to go back and freeze all the enemies and from there the entire community banded together to find out what it was. The google doc is still up too https://t.co/6lTbOxg8wR
@SmashRookie@Fleechiru As someone who REALLY likes the gameplay for DR and how much Toby mixes it up I straight up think 5 is the best chapter we have gotten since 2. Everything felt extremely cohesive within the chapter itself and while I enjoy deep lore, it’s never what’s kept me drawn to DR longterm
@SmashRookie taking 4 and 5 as a complete package basically gives us all we need for Susie and Ralsei’s characters before 6/7 inevitably unravels a lot for those two in however ways Toby is planning. I just wish 4 by itself was a more complete GAME experience so I could feel stronger abt it
@SmashRookie@Fleechiru Writing because it’s not “the greater narrative”. Seeing people genuinely argue that character development isn’t story development has also lowkey fried my brain this week tho so maybe I’m a bit more biased than before.
@SmashRookie@Fleechiru That being said Gerson and Susie’s relationship hard carried the story and that’s the real reason I’d ever be willing to replay it. .
@SmashRookie@Fleechiru For the narrative while honestly not giving as much narrative strength as people remember (imo it’s a lot of theory fuel but not much actual confirmation of anything important)
