By basically every metric Jordan Love is elite, and also if you just know ball it’s very evident, but somehow, there’s this weird conventional wisdom that he’s not that guy
look man, we’ve all watched christian watson drop a 75-yard touchdown on the first snap of his career, fight through chronic soft-tissue injuries, and successfully come back from a torn ACL all while still integrating himself as a core piece of this offense. he’s absolutely busted his ass. i couldn’t care less what they paid him, i’ll never be mad at a guy like that for getting his money when he deserves every penny
@NflSecret Congrats are for future production… Not past production. Not to mention his effect on the game is far beyond his individual production, but rather that of the entire offensive system… Good try though!
@NiceTurang@RunTheJules 1 - that's why they have revenue sharing. instead of taking that money and putting it into salary the cheap fuck owners are pocketing it.
2 - there's a ton of parity in baseball. but the bad teams stay bad b/c they're poorly run, not b/c of the dodgers spending
A salary cap will only heighten the Dodgers' advantages in areas like drafting and player development.
Where will the goalpost shift to next? It's unfair the Dodgers have so many smart execs so there should be a salary cap for front office employees?
ESPN sources: Green Bay WR Christian Watson and the Packers reached agreement today on a four-year, $110.5 million contract extension that includes a $31 million signing bonus.
