@globalmoha@PeterDiamandis Thanks for sharing you insights with us @globalmoha
We agree the intersection of AI and education will change the world.
When education is more available there is more opportunity for abundance.
Monday reminder: It’s okay to take risks and fail.
We LOVE this advice from our CEO. The concept of “failing well” or “failing forward” promotes a growth mindset where challenges are seen as opportunities to learn and develop new skills.
Thought experiment: If you were blindfolded in a room and someone only described what’s around you… could you complete a task?
Now imagine seeing the room. Instantly, your brain reconstructs the space in 3D.
That’s why language isn’t enough.
@martin_casado and @drfeifei explain why spatial intelligence is the next frontier for AI — and why mastering the physical world matters more than language alone.

Startups are losing enterprise deals to big AI companies because buyers don’t trust them, which means something very specific (not vibes):
(1) If something goes wrong, AI deployers think its easier to sue a large lab and be compensated vs a startup
(2) Large tech cos can offer wild terms, like uncapped liability protections, in their enterprise contracts
(3) Startups rarely use transparency, documentation, monitoring, and benchmarks *strategically* in their GTM
(4) Even fewer know how to turn those key metrics into contractual obligations, so buyers have technical guarantees for trust
It's about baking trust into the infrastructure of your company. A VC I saw this weekend thought SOC 2 and FedRAMP compliance is enough to communicate trustworthiness, which is wild to me. Working with Fortune 150, I know these are in no way adequate - more transparency around this would help startups know how to compete effectively
Thanks for having me on to explore - according to illustrious host @R__Hauser - " how a policy meant to prevent regulatory chaos may have guaranteed it"
The AI moratorium was a good idea, poorly executed. We need a populist vision for shared AI prosperity that cuts across party lines, and leaves bad AI bills to die. Ad astra!
Do you see what I see? AI has the power to shape our future, but it’s learning from our past—biases and all.
This week on Assembly Required, I sat down with @jovialjoy to discuss how we can hold AI accountable and build systems for everyone. Listen now: https://t.co/QUV00XQhNK
The unnamed book EMPIRE OF AI is mine, based on 300+ interviews, 7 yrs covering AI, & my time as the first reporter who got extensive access to OpenAI. I sought OpenAI's perspective throughout. For months they said it was coming. It never did. Pre-order: https://t.co/i5rNJ45fNo.
I led the creation of the very first high-resolution AI-based weather model FourCastNet at @NVIDIA@Caltech in 2021. Instead of bottoms-up physics-based weather forecasting, for the first time, we were able to show that AI-based models are accurate and tens of thousands of times faster, and paved the way for all other AI models that followed.
I am proud to see FourCastNet 3 released last week, which was started under my guidance before I left @nvidia and I have continued to be involved. https://t.co/PUO2DyPa9M
FourCastNet 3 is the fastest AI based model to provide probabilistic answers (upto 60 times faster than Google DeepMind diffusion model).
Probabilistic answers are especially important when it comes to extreme weather events. It is impossible to predict where precisely a hurricane makes landfall, but by providing probabilistic answers, we can assess risks and take actions like evacuation. This is the holy grail of weather forecasting!
Boris and Thorsten have tirelessly worked to make this happen. Congratulations!
A bit more history:
FourCastNet 2 introduced spherical Fourier neural operator that preserves spherical geometry while allowing it run at any resolution. This is critical for allowing for long rollouts, where competing AI models completely fail due to error buildup since they ignore that earth is a sphere. FourCastNet 3 preserves this property while ensuring the model is trained to provide accurate probabilistic answers via statistical ensembles.
What do workers want from AI? Researchers from @StanfordHAI and @DigEconLab undertook a comprehensive study involving U.S. workers and AI experts. Here's what they found: https://t.co/N6cl7tGYa3
After 3+ years, today is the day that my book “The Worlds I See” gets to see the world itself. It is a science memoir of the intertwining histories of me becoming an #AI scientist, and the making of the modern AI itself. All versions are now on Amazon https://t.co/1oH2vCjovu 1/
We’re proud to announce a $2M grant from @GoogleOrg to launch two bold initiatives in 2025: the Future of AI Education Council and the Future of AI Salon series.
Together, we’re building a more inclusive and human-centered AI future.
