Here's your movie rec this week! 'Jaws' (1975), directed by Steven Spielberg! It's a brilliant metaphor about the disillusion of the American Dream in the post Vietnam era. Oh, and it's the best monster movie ever made. Enjoy!
@BonanasPod From the 4th season of Bonanza onwards, the Cartwrights wear the same outfits in every episode so they could reuse footage. Is this something we should implement today? pick one outfit and stick with it? Do you fellas have a single outfit you wear?
@BonanasPod Santa Clause travels the world, breaking into every single home in one night. He also never ages. Is he a monster? He tells kids to be "good" to get a Christmas gift, like not killing things...including monsters! You need to do something, Dalton! He's indoctrinating our children!
@BonanasPod Since just about everyone is wearing a mask outside because of the corona virus, how am I to know if any of them are invisible mans? This seems like the perfect opportunity for them to operate out in public right under our noses.
@paulscheer I read that scene as Brody not wanting to share his traumatic story rather than being embarrassed. It’s the most significant scar between the three of them. The origins of Quint’s hatred and Hooper’s fascination with sharks is revealed but Brody’s mystery adds to his character.
