@burnthelilacs@sndwv_ Isn’t the answer just that it’s easier to get e because t is more heavily controlled by default regardless of legislation around transition?
@JoeTraherne1@MalachiJaiEmet@miffythegamer@stone3Clare@SusannaRustin I’d love to know what those legal protections are beyond anti-discrimination laws (which also extends to religion). Religious leaders also have an organised and embedded religious institution behind them to help with legal matters (how do you think these scandals happened?)
@charltonvibes@EdwardTHardy Thats a different point actually! :) but it’s also true, as the majority group that faces no discrimination, why would you need the validation? You’re very incisive!
@charltonvibes@EdwardTHardy Majority groups have no population centres to travel to, whereas Manchester already has an embedded gay culture and population. Unfortunately straight pride isn’t gonna work :(((
@the20Decs@EdwardTHardy Because it makes significantly more money for the city than it did for the organisation behind it, which had limited ways of getting cash from the event beyond contributions and ticket sales.
@TotoffromParis@salingergregor You can’t read either as well as being a dipshit - more than trans people have these surgeries and they’re also going to have the same scars you refer to derisively
@TotoffromParis@salingergregor Do you think trans men have special biology that make their voices with testosterone different from cís men? The entire spectrum of voice output that exists for trans men also exists for cís men - your assertion otherwise is bigoted delusion.
@TotoffromParis@salingergregor Are you going to call a cís woman that has had a double mastectomy “zipper tits”? Are scars on cís men who have had surgery for gynecomastia also fair game for ridicule? Any cís man with a voice you deem not manly enough? Just straight up antisocial behaviour.
@exnihilo393@ratlimit@OneFeIISwoop They are trapped not by the allure of cheese but the force of habit, culture, and potentially lack of knowledge to implement alternatives in their diet.
