Don't let a 10-minute problem consume a 24-hour day. The email was uncomfortable. The train was late. The conversation went poorly. Feel it, deal with it, then allow the rest of your life to remain intact.
A Monday morning question for you:
Look back ten years and you can probably identify a few blind spots or mistaken beliefs you held at the time. Now, fast forward ten years from today... what are likely to be your current blind spots? What are you not spending enough time thinking about or perhaps even willfully ignoring?
What to do with sudden large gains
1: take the gain. if it is still invested, it is no real gain yet. put it in usd on bank, usdt, or part in btc, then gains are realised imo
2: let ´the win´ sink in. do not start spending it immediately. you achieved something suddenly which not happens to many, and you actually took profit, so allow yourself some time to adjust to this life-changing event
3: go for long walks, exercise, relax, meditate, and do not touch the money for a while or worry about how to invest it etc. take a break from crazy crypto-x and screens. really let the win sink in.
4: do not start spreading the news that you are ´rich´ now. not in real life, not to your friend, not on crypto-x. in time you can tell it to family of course, but better stay quiet about to the outside world. jealousy and hate will come your way if you start shouting it from the rooftops
5: once ´the win´ has settled down, you will realise you now have more material options in life, but that does not mean immediately more contentment, which can only be found inside, so do not neglect an inner practice if you have one just because you got money. Actually if you did make a lot suddenly, start an inner practice to calm yourself, it will help you deal better with the temptations of being rich
6: put apart a medical emergencies fund (always useful for family members and yourself), help out people close to you in need if that feels right for you, and get some quality ´perks´ of being wealthy: more residencies if possible, best health insurances, high quality eco-food, things like that.
7: start improving your material life slowly, do not go overboard on spending. Ask yourself what you are really passionate about, what would really improve your quality of life and creative satisfaction in life, and slowly spend some money towards this goal without losing yourself in ego-temptations
8: educate yourself on diversifying assets so you can maintain this sudden financial wealth long term, do not start putting it all back into risky crypto for example
9: congrats, you are now materially and financially wealthy, time to turn inside and become truly content as well if that was not the case yet
Søren Kierkegaard on the Importance of Walking
“Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Everyday, I walk myself into a state of well-being & walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it. But by sitting still, & the more one sits still, the closer one comes to feeling ill. Thus if one just keeps on walking, everything will be all right.”
Keep doing things for you. Just for you. For your own recognition. For your own approval. For your own joy. Keep doing what sparks confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of yourself. Not everything meaningful needs an audience or validation. Keep experiencing yourself.
Underrated truth: No matter where you are in life, there is still so much to look forward to. People you haven’t met. Places you haven’t seen. Ideas you haven’t discovered. Versions of yourself you haven’t become. Believe the world has more in store for you, and it will.

If there was any period of your life when you had no money, no education, no job, no connection, no love, no confidence, no mental clarity, nothing good ongoing, and still, you somehow managed to stay hopeful and resilient, and eventually managed to fix each problem one after another, then you have nothing to worry about when it comes to the future; you've overcome the worst before, and you can certainly do it again.
local 1T parameter models are now only $94,000. I don't think we've ever seen a cost curve get pushed to zero as quickly as AI. We live in a prosperity era

anxiety is a horrible use of your imagination.
let’s overthink the best case scenarios. let’s analyse every time you do a good thing. let’s obsess over the times we make someone laughs. your brain already has the skill, you just need to use it to create something beautiful. because you deserve beautiful things.
One of the most practical and realistic things you can do to nurture a calmer mind is to become more financially responsible and invest with more intelligence and patience.
It’s easy to relax when you are financially free.
