@desiringmachine@ProbableChris Very good indicators, but it seems the color of the percentages in this text can't be changed, so they become invisible against a light background
@yaseeen76 It’s that simple: draw support and resistance levels based on overlapping wick areas, wait patiently for a pullback test, set a reasonable stop loss (15–20 pips), and take profit at the next support/resistance level or use a fixed R-multiple take profit.
@moritzfitness96 He’s arrogant, but most of what he says is right. Trading is hard—strategies don’t matter much; it’s all about personal judgment, intuition, and experience. His tweets aren’t always valuable, but better than useless chart analysis.
@thetastowe42 High volatility: higher margin for error, more opportunitie, profits driven by the market. Low volatility: lower margin for error, fewer opportunitie, profits driven by execution. When volatility contracts, do not raise your maximum allowable position size ,reduce risk instead
@jestertrading33 @FerThanosTrader What do you usually look for when using the 15-range footprint chart? I used to watch for delta flips, absorption, and exhaustion, but I wasn’t very comfortable with it so I stopped. Recently I started pairing a 4h footprint with a 15m one and it’s working great.
@jestertrading33 I think anchoring entries to the VWAP works well, but whenever I use the RTH VWAP or ETH VWAP for entries, I just keep losing money. My mentor keeps telling me not to trade directly off the VWAP, and my trading records reflect this issue. I’d like to hear your thoughts on it.
@JBearTrades But I still like TPO—it really helps me confirm levels. But I really don’t want to use DOM or footprint charts anymore, because I can just watch price action and candle reactions to jump in directly. Fuck order-flow signals.
@JuanOrlas1@XyzeeeTrades @paint_the_tape Trading strategies are not as important as the subjective experience of selecting market opportunities, which requires screen time.
@jestertrading33 If you trade only a single market, using it is optional and depends on personal preference. Still, I believe it’s valuable — saying it’s completely useless is just ridiculous.
@jestertrading33 Volume profile and candlesticks are both ways to display market data. The volume profile has great visual clarity and can process data quickly. It’s indispensable if you trade multiple markets.
@jestertrading33 I like using the ES 3000 volume chart and the NQ 1000 volume chart together with the Heiken Ashi indicator. When it breaks out and confirms, I think it’s good enough for most people.
