Harris, an avowed prosecutor and cop lover, supports the border wall and is actively part of an administration that funds Palestinian genocide, even choosing a running mate who does the same (at least for the last point) but is somehow the bulwark against Project 2025? Okay.
especially because political 'leaders' can use this dichotomy to do the most abhorrent things possible abroad but hey, at least you're safe...for now! it's a perpetual carrot and stick game that only devolves deeper and deeper into selfishness and detachment.
it is unfortunately a deeply white supremacist position to value domestic policy at the expense of foreign policy, and i’m really sorry to see so many of you feel that way
@LexiAlex the fact that people have the gall to say “yeah the genocide in Palestine is bad, but what about my rights?” is stomach churning, as if the only possible world is one in which they think it’s morally acceptable to approve of genocide to save themselves for even one day.
Another good day to remind people that just because an academic is renowned for their work in social justice, antiracism, decolonisation, or equality, it does not mean they are invested in this work at a personal level. Some are very good at researching these topics. That is all.
Not saying the supreme court decision is inconsequential (its not), but all these presidents are war criminals. Let's not act like the "rule of law" was upheld up to this point. If anything, it's the so-called law that upholds the crimes.
