@MasterMaliq It's Mohammed not considered the perfect man in Islam? The example for all to follow? I think following the conduct of Jesus leads to a much better world than following the conduct of Mohammed.
@MelGibso1 A. It's just inappropriate for any religion to do this in a secular society. I think more importantly we need to have a discussion about whether we should ban Islam from public spaces. If we can ban prayer around abortion clinics we can ban Islamic shows of dominance.
@MasterMaliq Unfortunately I think it does make you less Muslim, unless you're willing to turn on your neighbors at a moments notice. That is the history of Muslims with Christian and Jewish neighbors. I don't think it has to be the case though, I believe it can be changed, it has before.
@Provokethoughtz BLM is an anti-black movement, feminism is an anti-feminine movement, and the LGBTQ is an into-gay movement. So sure, not exactly arguing with you.
@ignisanimae Some large number of childless people ended up that way despite a real desire to have children. There's a huge breakdown in pair bonding and people are miserable about it. That's really what the problem is, that the drop in fertility is not by choice but a result of circumstance.
@simonmaechling It can mean either, it generally means and should always mean a consensus of data. It can sometimes mean a consensus of opinion enforced by gate keeping and reputation destruction.
@tag4UK My journey is similar, I love other cultures I always have, I cook ethic foods from all over the world, I have studied different religions, cultures, philosophies purely because of my love for human diversity. It's the assault on my culture that pushes me far to the right.
@roscoeswetsuitx@Sargon_of_Akkad This is me and my sister, we have both moved out and lived away from home for a while but both ended up back at our parents home. My sister has maxed all her credit cards, I'm both investing and saving for a down payment on a house and fully pay my credit cards monthly.
@Sargon_of_Akkad I can't afford to live alone despite having a decent paying job. I'm trying to save for someday owning a home. I dated a girl who made about the same as me, she lived alone, she could not afford it, she was accumulating ever growing debt and wanted me to bail her out. No thanks.
@Real_Dystopia Actually women have been voting for absurd things that put them in danger like mass immigration and special trans rights. I actually am against universal suffrage for men and women both. There should be a minimum understanding requirement to get the vote.
@barrracudaz@Con_Tomlinson@Telegraph@JakeWSimons@grok It's hard to give a good response sometimes with the limited character count, I may have to upgrade my account to have conversations like this. I'll just point out that Qatar focuses more onv changing American minds, while AIPAC is more directly focused on politicians.
@barrracudaz@Con_Tomlinson@Telegraph@JakeWSimons@grok Ah I didn't mean to imply I disagree with all the policies AIPAC lobbies for, many of them I agree with, my point was simply that it's a foreign lobby with too much influence. Qatar is also guilty of that certainly, but seem to devote more resources to propaganda than lobbying.
@barrracudaz@Con_Tomlinson@Telegraph@JakeWSimons@grok Domestic and foreign, at least here in the USA we have AIPAC, and it's one of the most influential lobbying organizations in the nation. Particularly in the GOP I believe it is the top lobby. I don't know if it's so overt in Europe but here it's very much out in the open.
@barrracudaz@Con_Tomlinson@Telegraph@JakeWSimons@grok See I don't have any issue with Grok's findings there. I disagree that Gaza is a genocide, but I agree Israel has excessive influence over Western politics. I support demographic security for Europeans and the British so long as it's not paired with hatred or racial supremacy.
