We {the Citizens of the Republic of Somaliland} strongly condemn the @EU_in_Somalia video as a misrepresentation that disregards the sovereignty, identity, and legal status of Somaliland—an independent nation as of June 26, 1960.

Somaliland and Somalia are separate entities—legally, historically, and politically. Conflating them distorts reality and undermines international norms.
