🚨 TOMORROW IS NOT AN ORDINARY PUBLIC HOLIDAY. IT IS THE DAY WE RECLAIM OUR CITY!
Baagi ba Soweto, I want to be clear: tomorrow, every eligible voter must come out and exercise their democratic right. I urge you to mobilise your families, friends, neighbours and everyone around you to go to the polls. Do not sit this election out!
Soweto is one of Johannesburg’s largest communities and a place of immense historical significance in the struggle for our democracy. Its population carries enormous electoral power. When Soweto votes in numbers, it can change the political direction of Johannesburg. Your votes can determine whether we continue down the path of poor governance, failing services and corruption, or choose a government that is committed to restoring this city.
We cannot continue complaining about the state of Johannesburg while failing to use the most powerful democratic tool available to us. We must take responsibility for the future of our city.
I have demonstrated that Joburg can work. I have confronted corruption, restored accountability and delivered services. I am ready to do it again, but I need your mandate! Let your numbers speak at the ballot box. Vote for change, restore law and order and RECLAIM OUR CITY WITH ACTIONSA FOR YOU!
#UnfinishedBusiness #OperationFixJoburg
I just voted ActionSA on both ballots in Cape Town 🗳️💚
I believe in Dereleen James because of how deeply she cares about people and how personally she takes the struggles facing our communities, from gang violence and drug abuse to the unaffordability of the city we all love.
I am GATVOL and if you are too, then join me in voting @Action4SA 🚀
