THEY’RE TAKING MY GUNS TO PLEASE MODI!

The moment I opened the Firearms Safety Authority’s letter, one thing smacked me right between the eyes – they can’t stop talking about the Prime Minister of India!

Modi this. Modi that. Modi four times in one letter! While they’re trying to rip my firearms licence away, all they care about is saving face for Modi and keeping that Free Trade Agreement alive. They don’t actually think I’m a danger with a gun. Nah. They’re terrified I’ve embarrassed their special guest.

Here’s Inspector Glenn Nalder’s own words – straight from the page:

1. “You published a video speaking about the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA…”
2. “You claim the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA is killing Christians…”
3. “You claim the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA is covering mass rapes of little girls…”

Five points total. Four of them mention Modi.

It’s not a firearms notice – it’s a diplomatic love letter!

I’ll be fighting every single one of these points tooth and nail.

But let me ask the real questions that every Kiwi should be asking:

▪️ Why is the Indian Prime Minister the star of a New Zealand gun licence decision?
▪️ Why is my political opinion about a foreign leader and country now a matter for the Firearms Safety Authority?
▪️ And why is this all exploding right when Modi’s flying in and the FTA deal is hanging by a thread?

Coincidence? Yeah right.

Is this foreign interference?
We all remember when our young men did the haka and stopped those Sikh parades…the Indian government wrote straight to our government putting the pressure on.

Now here we are again.
Is the Indian government applying pressure again?
It’s not too far-fetched to believe that they are.

The New Zealand Government and Police are bending over backwards to protect a leader whose country is committing human rights violations:
▪️ Slaughtering and purging Christians
▪️ Burning churches to the ground
▪️ Raping and abusing Christian girls
▪️ Pushing child brides
▪️ Running non-conversion laws
▪️ Still drowning in child labour

Enough!

This isn’t about my guns.
This isn’t about threats.
This isn’t about unsafe firearm handling.

This is about words. My words. Political words. Passionate words.

Words that sparked a national firestorm about free speech, mass immigration, and the future of our country.

Whether you love me or hate me…every New Zealander better wake up.

If they can take your guns for speaking your mind, they can take your voice next.

Passionate speech is not hate speech.
Free speech is only real when it’s unpopular.

And I will never, ever shut up.

I’ll keep standing.
I’ll keep speaking.
I’ll keep fighting for every single Kiwi’s right to say what needs to be said – without the government crawling up India’s backside to silence you.

Six Police Cars Turn Up at My Home at 8:33am to Seize My Hunting Guns – “This Is an Attack on Free Speech. Speak Up and They Come for Your Guns.”

This morning at exactly 8:33am, six police cars, the police officers, turned up at my Auckland home. They were there to tell me my gun licence has been temporarily suspended because, in their words, I am “not a fit and proper person” to hold one. They came to uplift every one of my hunting guns.

I have 28 days to make a submission. Let me be crystal clear: this is an attack on free speech. In New Zealand today, if you speak up passionately against injustice,
they send the police to take your guns.

My guns were locked in a proper gun safe. They were used only for hunting pigs and deer – nothing else. I have never committed an act of violence in my entire
life. I do not tolerate violence. Yet they still came with six cars. My wife was home. Then my granddaughter and great-grandchildren arrived. What did they
think was going to happen?

They have twisted my words from a recent podcast. I was standing up against the horrific human rights violations happening in India right now...
🔹Christians being killed
🔹Churches being burned to the ground
🔹Child brides
🔹Christian women and girls being raped

I spoke from the heart as a grandfather. When I talked about protecting my granddaughters and great-granddaughters, it was figurative – the same way any father or grandfather says he would get a shotgun to protect his daughter from the wrong kind of suitors. It was never a threat. It was a father’s natural instinct to defend his family.

I said imagine if this was happening in New Zealand – if we were burning down mosques and temples. I was making a point. I never implied I was going to do it. I was highlighting the hypocrisy of our politicians.

They let Sikhs walk around freely carrying weapons…daggers, swords, and axes as part of their religion. But my legally owned, safely stored hunting rifles are suddenly a problem? It wasn’t long ago there was a full-on sword fight inside a temple in Tauranga that hurt people. The police should have confiscated those weapons then. Where was the outrage?

When I said we should get rid of Sikhs and Hindus in this context, I meant stop them at the border and send them back if they will not assimilate. It is that simple. Shut the border to mass immigration that refuses to become New Zealanders. I had to say it strongly to force this to become a national conversation again.

New Zealand must remain New Zealand. Foreigners who come here must assimilate. They must not bring their foreign religions, customs, and ways – including kirpans, swords, and axes…their hijabs, turbans and burkas – and impose them on us. We are not India. We are NZ.

This government is doing a handshake with a human rights abuser…Modi. Why would any New Zealand government shake hands with the devil while Christians are being killed and persecuted in India? My recent comments have simply magnified the weakness of this government.

Now they are coming after my guns. Indians have got my licence revoked. So do Indians now control the New Zealand Police and our politicians? This reeks of political interference.

I am not a violent person. I have never been a violent person. They have taken my words completely out of context to silence me.

I will be making my submission within the 28 days. But let every New Zealander hear this loud and clear: when they come for your guns because you spoke the truth, it is not about safety – it is about control.

I will not be silenced. I will keep standing up for New Zealand, for our Christian heritage, for our borders, and for the right to speak without fear of the state coming to your door with six police cars.

New Zealanders, wake up. You could be next.

Why NZFirst is against the Indian FTA:

1. Unprecedented immigration settings including uncapped student numbers with working rights and 5000 visa holders entering NZ who can bring in families which increases that number to 20,000+ at any one time. This is in addition to other uncapped immigration work visa pathways within the agreement.

2. The UN co-governance framework UNDRIP is in the agreement. This is the provision that created He Puapua and co-governance being embedded in our country.

3. The Paris Agreement which forces unmeetable and pointless emission reduction targets onto our country is in the agreement, which costs our farmers, economy, and our country - with up to $22 billion being sent overseas.

4. New Zealand must promote $33 billion of investment into India over just the next 15 years, otherwise India will claw back the agreement. Billions of dollars we can’t afford into a foreign country when we are desperate for investment here in New Zealand.

National, Act, and Labour have agreed to this Indian FTA for short term headline gains with fundamental and substantial long term flaws.

They are even now just realising NZFirst was right about the immigration numbers and they are now trying to change the default immigration rules - but why just for India? Why not now put immigration restrictions in across all FTA partners and immigration…

Only NZFirst is fighting against this FTA, and the only party fighting for New Zealand and New Zealanders future.

Did you know foreigners in NZ are eligible for Kainga Ora’s 5% deposit first home scheme?

A scheme that is being heavily advertised and abused by fresh off the plane immigrants, to easily secure property in our country.

The 5% deposit scheme was designed to help young kiwis get into the property market, who might be struggling financially to obtain the standard 20% deposit rate.

Our youth should not be competing with non-citizens for housing.

Joseph Matamata, a Samoan immigrant, is the first person to be convicted of both human trafficking and slavery in New Zealand. He worked as a horticultural labour contractor in Hawkes Bay, where he abused his position as a traditional Samoan Chief to bring workers over from Samoa on holiday visas, force them to work 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, control their movement and withhold their wages. Workers were beaten with a bamboo stick and belt if they broke his rules.

He was sentenced to 11 years in prison, has served 6, but has now been granted parole. He should be deported.

It is ironic how a party who enjoys being in government under the blanket of support we provide, then turns around and complains about the manner in which we provide it.

NZFirst stands by values of nationalism, conservatism, patriotism and commonsense. They use them as some sort of punchline.

It’s comical that the only government party working with Labour right now is the National Party. They are working with Labour to get the Indian FTA over the line, working with Labour to pass the Digital ID social media ban, and working together with Labour on passing the Gene Tech bill.

As the saying goes, there’s not much difference between Pepsi and Coke.

But we understand why National is saying what they are. Pressure will make you say dumb things. There is no more ‘capital N’.

National should know that saying irrational and dumb things will be highly concerning for voters who are wanting stability, experience, and unity.

National doesn’t need to worry about NZFirst. National needs to worry about National.

Funny. We thought National was tough on crime - they just blatantly stole NZFirst’s policies of compulsory KiwiSaver, increased contributions, and automatic enrolment at birth with a government top up - which we announced in May and called ‘KiwiSaver Generation’.

It must be slightly embarrassing for them to criticise us then have to steal our policies for an announcement.

We realise the only great policy announcements are coming from NZFirst but at least admit they’re ours before you announce them…

But don’t worry. It’s better late than never to catch up.
