@jeremyjudkins_@SuperSaf Oh please. His review did not cancel those companies. They were operating their businesses badly and they failed accordingly. Even if he gave them a glowing review it would not have changed anything for Fisker or Humane AI pin (both of whom were already receiving poor reviews).
@STLSparty @THR It does say this only applies to screenings after 4pm. So this won't apply to matinee screenings at very least. I'm with you on thinking this should be limited to opening weekend of new releases. I'd even give them second weekend, but this shouldn't be across the board.
@tkguy@KTLA I think it takes distance into account too. If you were outside of whatever radius was set in the app for you. It wouldn't alert you even though it was above 3.5.
@Captain2Phones Having to buy multiple wireless charging pads sounds a lot more expensive then just needing one super fast wired charging brick/cable though. You get the full convenience of fast wired charging with one accessory compared to having to buy 3+ pads to get the benefit from wireless.
@jonatha37485176 @ianzelbo For actual practical uses, I could maybe see this on vehicles like cop cars, ambulances, fire trucks, etc. Either full body coverage or just specific panels. Maybe regular cars might have a panel or two on it for more obvious emergency signaling? That's all I can really think of.
@thegameawards In addition to Sly Cooper and Twisted Metal as others have said. Bring back Jet Moto as like a Tony Hawk Pro Skater meets Burnout Paradise type game, that'd be cool.
@x4jw@pramitbasnyat@saradietschy They've also got a blog post about hacks. https://t.co/q32g9PFqey If taken at face value, if 1Password was hacked, the intruder can't access our info because 2/3 pieces of info they'd need, 1Password doesn't have it on their servers. Only the user/their local device have it. 2/2
@x4jw@pramitbasnyat@saradietschy I found this. https://t.co/byOZAiyp12 Seems to show they do regularly audit. That has links to the websites of the companies doing the audits and the full reports. 1/2
@kevinbparry This is really cool. You should talk to @LAIKAStudios (of Coraline, ParaNorman, Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings fame) about doing some kind of test or short film with this. As NeRF tech progresses I could see it being useful for stop motion features like they produce.
@_el_pablo_@Johnnewhouse1@THE_LHC@FullyChargedShw Thats what they meant and said. Hyundai used the EV version as the core model that the hybrid and ICE version are based on as opposed to the other way around as was the case prior.
@ruimiguel_17@rsgnl I think phones like the Z Flip 3 are the high end option for the niche who like Mini/Compact phones. They're good for scrolling feeds but the user doesnt need large screen content consumption or doesnt like the form factor of normal big phones. Easier to fit in tiny pockets too.
@Marshall_Macro @boinkofscience @webclam @KidFromNE @_nickramsey @mcuban@elonmusk Sure. Costs will go up for those bad actors but long as they still stand to gain on the back end from people falling for the scams. It's still a pretty low barrier for entry and a cost that can be justified for some of those perpetrators. The better solution is ID verification.
@vinschger@1Password From my understanding. They'll all likely have their own user facing UI implementations but under the hood, they're all using the same API standard and they'll all be interoperable with each other. Meaning Passkeys will work across your Mac, Windows PC, Android phone, etc 2/2
@vinschger@1Password Yes and no it seems. Companies using Passkeys seem to all be doing it based on the same standard. 1Password is in the FIDO Alliance alongside Apple, Amazon, Google, LastPass, Meta, Microsoft, Samsung, PayPal, Visa, Yubico, and many banks. It's an industry wide change. 1/2
