@YES_Climate Uganda had a capacity building session on climate change crisis with more than 30 youths of @ChristTheKingUG. The Youths are very vibrant, enthusiastic, ambitious and curious of what the climate change is about. We made a collaboration and planning for more events.
Climate YES Rwanda planted 60 bamboo trees donated by RDIS and strategically planted in two locations:
✓ Murangi Farm Training Center

The tree planting activity was aimed at controlling soil erosion and protecting the Nyabujeje

#WorldEnvironmentDay2025
Theme: Harmony with Nature and Sustainable Development.
As young Christians leaders, our interactions with our biological diversity should bring a lasting impact as stewards of God's Creation, our common home. We unite with God, with nature, with our neighbor and with ourselves.
One of the key asks;
There is a gap in the knowledge of youth leaders to enhance their mandate. We therefore ask for clear and precise training for youth leaders in the network, e.g., eco-theology short courses, leadership courses, and mentorship.
