We need to copy Portugal's 🇵🇹 drug policy by decriminalising drugs. It will help to reduce the number of people both taking and harmed by drugs.

We support @ukdecrimnow because it protects sex workers and makes their job safer. Progressive parties should do the same and focus far more on reducing harm in areas like sex work.

@l_d1995x asks how public health approaches can be better integrated into Labour Policy.
David notes the need to focus on the epidemic of knife crime and gang culture and the issues that are stoking that. The issues on education, care and trauma and support.
He notes the issues surrounding CAMHS. Trauma can manifest in criminal behaviour - public health approach is favoured by Sadiq Khan. But cannot do this alone.
