Happy end of term, English teachers 🐝
If you do one thing before you finish up for half term, secure your space for the LitdriveCPD26 National Conference on Sat 11th July for a day of brilliant, subject specific CPD.
Let us know you're coming along! #Litdrive
@MmeLockhartLDS@MrZachG I'm not sure if I can agree with this, it takes away the autonomy of thinking and also what has happened to trial and error. In the Christmas spirit with 'A Christmas Carol'. Loved creating Scrooge and christmas trees out of old books. As the saying goes 'Old is Gold'. Creativity with literature.
For a Christmas treat I’d like to gift an educator an edu book- I have several copies of lots of amazing edu books! All you have to do is RT this tweet! (Follow me if you want!) I’ll pick a winner at random on 20/12/25!
One of my favorite lines ever.
We burn with longing.
We have a memory of another world.
We long for it and search for it in everything.
A far off country, a better land, our true home.
I feel this is what has been missing! I miss the drop everything and read! When the bell rings you stop and the whole school reads, literally everyone! For 10-15mins. To encourage reading in secondary school.
