Why aren't the escalators at Bayfront Park + Government Ctr (up to the Metrorail) working @IRideMDT? The escalator at Bayfront was working this morning and now all of these poor #FWCMiami people have to climb those stairs after standing in the blazing sun & heat at #FiFAFanFest
Despite being far less massive than the Milky Way (just 10–20% of its size) the Large Magellanic Cloud harbours some of the most spectacular star-forming regions in the nearby Universe.

Did you know that rip currents are the 3rd-highest cause of fatalities in the U.S. from tropical cyclones? Rip currents are the hidden hurricane hazard. https://t.co/LC01v5IT25
Forgive, But Don't Forget - His Holiness the Dalai Lama answers one of life's hardest questions. Forgiveness does not mean forget. It does not mean you accept the wrong action. It means you choose not to carry anger and hatred. Forgive the person. Oppose the action. Two different things. Video originally recorded on March 20, 2015.
So, the 4:35pm bus just doesn't come anymore? Pardon, but what the HELL is that all about and why does it keep happening @IRideMDT? The frequency at which this occurs is unacceptable for the taxes that we pay.
The Moon, revealed through its geology. 🌗
Explore the Unified Geologic Map of the Moon! Created by @usgs_astrogeo, in collaboration with @nasa and other partners, this first-ever comprehensive map reveals the Moon’s entire surface geology, combining Apollo-era data with recent satellite missions.
It not only shows the 4.5-billion-year history of our lunar neighbor, but also serves as a key tool for future human missions and an invaluable resource for scientists, educators, and space enthusiasts.

4 people are flying around that Moon today.
The first since 1972, and the first-ever with digital cameras, to see better into the dark craters and textures.
The crew will have perfect quiet when the Moon blocks out Earth - a time of peace, alone, together.

To think that we aren't just going "to the Moon," but rather traveling to meet it at an exact point in space... changes everything.
It all comes down to orbital mechanics: arriving at the precise location, at the precise moment.
One tiny error... and it simply doesn't happen
🚨ALERT🚨
Metromover service on the Brickell and Omni loops is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues. The Inner Loop is running.
Bus shuttles are being arranged to serve the Brickell and Omni areas.

You know it's going to be a good day when the @IRideMDT trains and movers are running as scheduled and you have this view.
Can the transit work like it did this morning everyday?
Fantastic explanation of a growing problem here. These new Miamians (6 years or less) aren't talking about the REAL Miami. 2 income families can't make ends meet. Imagine what could happen if property taxes are cut? Renters will pay the higher taxes.#Miami https://t.co/in5ChBcyWz
Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is shooting lava fountains up to 1,000 feet, and falling ash and volcanic fragments are forcing temporary closures on the Big Island. The fountaining that began Tuesday morning marked the eruption's 43rd episode since it began in December 2024.
@RealMikeSchall That was a general "people need to stop posting downtown improvment projects" not solely directed at you btw. At least you're looking at green spaces.
