Climate change has negatively impacted the lives of marginalized and vulnerable groups, the majority of whom are women and children.

The maiden edition of the Africa Women and Children Conference will explore the various ways through which these groups can be heard, and the effects on them, mitigated.

Led by H.E Samira Bawumia, and hosted by the President of the Republic of Ghana H. E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, the conference will have Dr. Amina Jane Mohammed, Deputy UN Secretary-General, and Dr Nkozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organisation lead the discussions to showcase innovation and elicit responses from some leading actors on the climate, environment, and energy.
