मिसिंग लिंकच्या कामात केवळ दलाली आणि भ्रष्टाचाराची लिंक झाल्याने सुरक्षाच मिसिंग झाली आहे. गेल्या चार-पाच दिवसात पुण्यापासून मुंबईपर्यंत पावसाने या नतभ्रष्ट सरकारच्या पोकळ दाव्यांची पोलखोल करत या भ्रष्ट सरकारचे काळे कारनामे उघड केले आहेत. या नतभ्रष्ट सरकारला जनता माफ नाही करणार!

क्या आपने कभी ऐसा पेड़ देखा है जो खुद अपने अंदर पीने का पानी जमा करता हो? भारत के शुष्क पर्णपाती जंगलों में पाए जाने वाले टर्मिनेलिया टोमेंटोसा पेड़ की कुछ पुरानी प्रजातियाँ अपने तने में कई लीटर पीने योग्य पानी संग्रहित करती हैं। जंगलों में रहने वाले समुदाय गर्मियों में इसी पानी से अपनी प्यास बुझाते हैं, जब बाकी जल स्रोत सूख जाते हैं। प्रकृति सिर्फ जीवन नहीं देती, बल्कि संकट में सहारा भी बनती है।

Hon’ble Commissioner @AshwiniBhide,

Recent reports highlight removal of footpath obstructions like wrongly placed boards. The real question is–how are such basic planning and execution failures being allowed by BMC engineers in the first place?

From name boards to entire footpaths blocked by metro staircases, these are not minor errors. Any school-going child can spot them.

Once metro operations begin, large pedestrian crowds will spill onto already encroached footpaths–leading to severe congestion, traffic disruption, and accident risks.

This directly contradicts the vision of universal, pedestrian-friendly footpaths backed by funding allocations under former Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani. On ground, we see the opposite–officially created obstructions and poor planning.

The biggest question which can never be answered is ' How is BMC going to remove the obstruction on the footpath caused by the Metro Rail staircase covering the entire Footpath. Some serious head scratching is needed by the @mybmc Engineers.

I wish to formally bring to your attention the ongoing CC road works in Mulund. While such development across Mumbai is understood, the situation has been deeply concerning.

For years, work has progressed at a snail’s pace, remaining incomplete across multiple stretches. The execution reflects serious lapses–poor material quality, improper road heights and excessive patchwork with little regard for technical standards.

*Attaching a video highlighting one such critical issue. Just by looking at it, one can gauge the ground reality.* The road level has been raised by nearly 2 feet without proper alignment to adjoining ground levels–posing a high risk of flooding during monsoon.

The durability and safety of these roads remain a major concern.

Despite repeated complaints, site visits with @mybmcWardT and Roads Department officials, and formal acknowledgements from @mybmc accepting these issues, there has been no visible improvement.

Having served as a Corporator, I have not witnessed such poor execution and prolonged disruption in my entire tenure.

Incomplete roads have led to daily inconvenience, safety hazards and accidents for residents.

I urge your immediate intervention and accountability from the #RoadsDepartment.

@SunilGangwani_ @AshwiniBhide BMC only puts on a hollow show of development to benefit its preferred contractors. Across Mumbai, BMC should clarify which gutters and Nallas have been constructed according to the prescribed standards.

If you can delink delimitation from the 2029 census & switch to 2027…
If you can edit that amendment in an hour to raise seats across states by 50%…
Then you can implement 33% #WomenReservation now, without hiding behind #delimitation, where consensus already exists.
