American Friends of Kurdistan (AFK) calls on @StateDept @SecRubio to intervene in Aleppo, Syria as innocent Kurdish civilians are being slaughtered by Turkish-backed Islamists.

The so-called “Syrian government” under the authority of Jolani is guilty of war crimes, which include the indiscriminate killing of women and children, bombing of hospitals and throwing civilians off buildings, just as ISIS did.

What happened to the Druze, Alewites and Christians is now happening to the Kurds.

President Trump @POTUS @realDonaldTrump called for a peaceful and stable Syria.

Congress @SenateForeign @HouseForeignGOP @HouseForeign @SenateGOP @SenateDems set strict conditions for lifting The Caesar Act sanctions.

However, Damascus has failed to stabilize Syria or meet any of the conditions set by Congress.

We must not betray America’s loyal and reliable allies, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) @SDF_Syria.

AFK calls on the State Department to:

▪️Call on Damascus to end the siege on the Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo

▪️Call on the 43,000 radical Islamists sent to Aleppo to slaughter Kurdish civilians by Damascus to withdraw immediately

▪️Call on Turkey to end all material support to the radical Islamists waging war on civilians in Aleppo

▪️Call on Damascus to hold accountable those who committed war crimes against civilians in Aleppo

The level of distrust is at an all time high between Damascus and the Kurdish-led government in northeast Syria. Syria is no better under Jolani than it was under the Assad regime.

Syria is on the verge of another civil war.

Now is the time to act.
