INDIA: A Muslim rickshaw driver, Mohammad Salahuddin Qureshi, was beaten up in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, after he asked a motorcyclist to move his bike which was blocking his vehicle.

Qureshi says he was subjected to religious slurs, including being called a “Katua Jihadi” and told to “go to Pakistan.” “Katua” is a derogatory slur used against Muslims in India.

Qureshi further says that when he cried “Allahu Akbar” in pain, he was mocked.
