This lady in my office has been carrying face since we contributed ₦2k each for her wedding.
Her wedding was two weeks ago, and there are only 15 of us in the office.
For the past six years, anytime someone in the office is celebrating something, this lady never contributes more than ₦2k, no matter how special or touching the occasion is.
So when she brought her wedding invitation, we all contributed ₦2k each.
That came to ₦30k, which we sent to her.
Nobody bought her aso-ebi.
She resumed work yesterday with a serious frown on her face.
One of us asked her,
“Mrs Loveth, how was the wedding nah?”
She replied,
“Were you not there?”
@BashirAhmaad@MTNNG Even better, turn the matter into a class action lawsuit against @MTNNG and a million of us will sign up in a heartbeat. This rip off must end
@Omojuwa God bless you, JJ. My rule of thumb about international travel is that any country that appears to not welcome the likes of me on their shores by aiding and/or abetting insane bottlenecks in their visa requirements is the country I never ever want to visit
Yaradua gave a speech without reading from a paper. It shows he knows what he needed to say and the problems in Nigeria and is willing to solve them. God bless him, may his soul rest in peace. He is not like Buhari🤔 and the rest.
Today, leaders refuse to acknowledge our problems and instead claim that everything is fine.
@Motorsport Only a slap on the wrist this time to cancel out that erroneous penalty back at Spa last week. The arc of moral universe... (finally) bends towards justice
@markessien Comparing one company's revenue to another's profit is an egregious disinformation campaign and does not serve the public interest. Shame on you
