Paul "Paulie" Brunnock (30/09/1967 - 02/01/2023) was an avid runner, he ran over 100 marathons, many ultras, and ran 7 100mile races. He always said that anyone could run, and told Lloyd numerous times he had such potential in running.

So, anyway, charging for the verification checkmark seems like a really poor idea. I would love to hear about the market research that went into it (or lack thereof). I suspect this will be something taught in business classes in coming years.

The value of the blue verification checkmark is that is signals that someone has enough notoriety to have one (& stops ppl from impersonating those who attract impersonators).

If *anyone* can have one for $8, this will turn the value into ~$0. Right? Am I missing something here?

@amazon has a policy that you cant have student prime for more than 4-years.

I am on my 7th year of being a student right now, and quite frankly, it's a stupid policy.
