Today, along with my colleagues from the Minority Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh, we paid a courtesy visit to the popular Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and extended our heartfelt greetings and congratulations to him.

We expressed our gratitude for his visionary leadership and efforts towards the all-round development of Assam, his welfare-oriented initiatives, and his commitment to taking the state forward.

We also conveyed our hope that under his able leadership in the coming days, the state will continue to progress on the path of greater prosperity, peace, and development.

In today’s program, the Hon’ble President of BJP Hojai District, Shri Dilip Dhar; the State General Secretaries of Minority Morcha, Assam Pradesh, Inder Singh and Rishabh Chipani; Vice President Parvez Mehdi; Secretary Yashpal Singh; Co-incharge of Hojai District Minority Morcha, Amir Hamza; and President of Hojai District Minority Morcha, Kamrul Choudhury were present.

The Chief Minister’s Mahila Udyamita Scheme is an ambitious initiative undertaken to empower the women of Assam and promote economic growth in the state through the development of the rural economy. Through this scheme, the government is committed to strengthening 40 lakh women entrepreneurs.

Under the Chief Minister’s Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, the Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed an initial cheque of ₹10,000 in the presence of 20,336 mothers and sisters from the Barpeta Legislative Assembly constituency. This initiative will undoubtedly play a significant role in the empowerment and upliftment of women in Assam.

A major and historic appointment for candidates from our Adivasi and Tea Tribe communities…

Yesterday, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma handed over appointment letters to 120 candidates from our Adivasi and Tea Tribe communities in the Assam Police and Home Department. Under the strong leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. @himantabiswa Sarma, the 3% reservation in government jobs for unemployed youth of our Adivasi and Tea Tribe communities has greatly benefited the brothers and sisters of the tea gardens.

On behalf of the people of our Adivasi and Tea Tribe communities, I extend heartfelt thanks and deep gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Dr @himantabiswa Sarma for such a noble initiative. I also convey my sincere congratulations to each and every candidate who has received the appointment.
