Sports in general provides one of the wildest shockers time and again. One can hope for one more shocker and your talking Quarter finals for the first time ever. It’s been a major successful campaign already at this point.
No one is going to pick Canada over the Dutch or Morocco. Getting to this point of the World Cup is a massive achievement for the program. But fuck it. Keep going. Shock the world. Sports are weird. Anything can happen.
Agree. Repeated announcements of the same projects packed with different wording with no real follow up has hurt the economy at a scale that some can’t even comprehend. Canada needs the governance that can make use of the resources it holds. People talk about saving for future generations. I like to put it as, If you don’t make a successful nation, your future generations will curse you regardless of what resources you left them. Resources mean nothing If you can utilise them for betterment of the nation and its people.
Exactly why infrastructure investments in multiple sectors need to be made easier than how it is right now. Doing business anywhere is a humongous task. As you said, Population increase means nothing if there’s no infrastructure and jobs being created in advance to be able to sustain it.
With you, on the fact that liberal government has been mostly of a talk than walking that talk.
Absolutely. 100%. If Canadians are suffering with homelessness, drug addiction and health crisis, last thing government should be doing is handing out cheques to refugees or new immigrants. I am against it personally. Immigrant being welcomed is of worth ONLY when he earns the money through hard work, pays taxes and contributes to rather than drain the economy. But the hate immigrants are getting right now isn’t filtered to pointing out what’s wrong with the system. It’s about putting the blame on every single immigrant who worked hard to make Canada that it is or was until few years ago. Civil conversations are lost and hate has taken over reasoning.
Immigration issue that has gained traction globally stems from the fact that governments messed up in who they let in. There can hardly be an argument against bringing in skilled immigration that will effectively compensate for the talent any country lacks or have shortage of. It’s not to say you shouldn’t focus on Canadians. Canadian citizens have to be absolutely priority. But Canadian citizens who are getting old and need the care they deserve should also be priority. Free healthcare and social security systems can’t be afforded if we don’t have thriving companies and economy. I wish for Canadians to be able to have better life than what it is like right now. But immigration at 0% as some people debate will only make it worse instead of bettering it.
Not really. He didn’t call them racists. So much of rage is justified because of how the immigration system was handled in recent times. It’s obviously important to note because people are in worse positions than they were at due to government’s mishandling of one of the best immigration systems that existed. Immigration should actually bring positive results to the economy otherwise there’s no point of it. Apart from that, do people still hate immigrants? Yes. Are those people racists? Absolutely.
Water usage has been a hot topic in the AI data center world, but the numbers may surprise you.
According to the Manhattan Institute, data centers use 0.2 percent of daily water usage in the U.S. and that number has dramatically decreased in the past few years due to a new method: liquid cooling.
By moving to 45°C liquid cooling, AI factories in favorable climates can use dry coolers instead of conventional cooling-tower-based systems, cutting facility cooling water use from roughly 2.6M gallons per MW per year to near zero.
Liquid cooling enables AI factories to be both water and energy efficient, while creating opportunities for heat reuse and dispersal to local communities, allowing these factories to become energy grid assets.

@AtriNeeraj Seriously. No one cares about his previous or even current business. Conflict of interest is as simple of a concept as it can get. Most logical thing here would be him being shown the exit door and probe into these sales.
Some things are not worth defending. You guys are proving the fact that you are biased to peak. Whether they have been in business since long or not isn’t the question here. Issue is this is insider trading to put it simply. The corridors CM’s family bought are directly connected to development he was approving through his elected government. I see no way of justifying it.
Keep crying about India being 3rd world country while Tech Giants from US keep scooping up equity in Indian startups. Indian population need to be inspired from this and many other examples to keep grinding and looking to build better products for the overall economy. There’s long way to go but we are on right path.
Congratulations to @kunalb11 on becoming the new global CEO of WhatsApp.
From building FreeCharge and CRED to leading one of the world’s most influential platforms, this is a remarkable achievement.
Another Indian entrepreneur joining the ranks of global tech leadership. 👏
Canada is back at the top of the G7 food inflation rankings.
Food prices rose 3.8% in May, outpacing every other G7 country. While inflation has eased in much of the G7, Canadian households continue to face persistent pressure at the grocery store.
At what point will media outlets start interviewing experts who actually understand what's happening in food markets, instead of repeatedly assuring Canadians that food price increases are "temporary"?
The disconnect between official narratives and what Canadians experience at checkout remains hard to ignore.
