Call for Strengthening Organization

At an activity assessment meeting held on 7 and 8 July, the National Union of Eritrean Women branch in the Southern Region called for enhanced organizational capacity, particularly among young women.

According to the report presented at the meeting, 65% of the programs planned for 2025 have been completed. In addition, 118 women have been elected as area administrators and managing directors, and 850 women as village coordinators. Encouraging awareness-raising activities were also conducted in collaboration with partners to eradicate underage marriages and other harmful practices.

Participants held extensive discussions based on the reports presented by the heads of 12 sub-zones in the region, focusing on achievements recorded and challenges faced.

Ms. Senait Afwerki, head of the union branch in the Southern Region, provided a briefing on the activities implemented during the first half of the year and called for reinforced participation to achieve better outcomes.

Ms. Amete Neguse, Secretary of the PFDJ in the region, commended the successful implementation of various activities over the past six months and urged for strengthened efforts in executing the programs scheduled for the second half of the year.

Ministry of Agriculture Distributes Chickens to Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture branch in the Southern Region has distributed chickens to 353 disadvantaged farmers at fair prices. The beneficiaries, from the administrative areas of Hakir, Kisad-Emba, and Mai-Goduf in Senafe sub-zone, received 25 chickens each.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to ensure access to nutritious food for all, everywhere.

Mr. Bereke Misgina, head of the agriculture office in the sub-zone, indicated that the chicken distribution program will continue in other administrative areas within the sub-zone. He also urged the recipient farmers to ensure proper care of the chickens and to work diligently to expand their poultry activities, thereby improving their livelihoods.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the support and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding poultry farming initiatives. They also pledged to contribute to market stabilization by increasing the availability of poultry products.

ኣባል13 ዙርያ ሃገራዊ ኣገልግሎትን ብትምህርቲ ምስ መበል 17 ዙርያ ሳዋ ዝወረደን ኣስመሮም ካሕሳይ፡ ኣብ 2009 ካብ ኮለጅ ሕርሻ ሓመልማሎ ብዓውዲ ምክልኻል ሕማማትን ባልዓትን ብቚሊ፡ ብዲግሪ ተመሪቑ። ድሕሪ’ዚ ናብ ሚኒስትሪ ትምህርቲ ተመዲቡ ን7 ዓመታት ኣገልጊሉ። ዝዀነ ሰብ ብዝተመረቐሉ ዓውዲ ክምደብ ዝብል መምርሒ ድሕሪ ምውጽኡ፡ ኣስመሮም ብዝተመረቕሉ ዓውዲ ከገልግል፡ ኣብ 2016 ናብ ኮርፖረሽን ዘራእቲን ጥሪትን ሕርሻ ከርከበት ዳግማይ ተመዲቡ። ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ፡ ኣብቲ ቦታ ከም ክኢላ ምክልኻል ብቚሊ ከምኡ’ውን፡ ኣብ ምክትታል ሓፈሻዊ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ኰይኑ ግቡኡ ኣብ ምፍጻም ይርከብ። ብስራሕ ናብቲ ቦታ ኣብ ዝተንቀሳቐስናሉ ብዛዕባ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ሓፈሻዊ መብርሂ ክህበና ተወኪስናዮ። ዝሃበና መልሲ ድማ ይስዕብ፥

ወቕቲ ምጅማር ፕሮጀክት ሕርሻ ከርከበት፡ ኣብ ጥቅምቲ’ዩ ዝጅምር። ስለ ዝዀነ መስርሕ ምትካል ቀወምቲ ኣግራብ ፍረታትን ኣዝርእቲን ድማ፡ ኣብቲ ዝተጠቐሰ ግዜ ይካየድ። ሎሚ ዓመት ብፍሉይ ኣብቲ ቦታ ኣብ ልዕሊ 80 ሄክታር ኣስታት 8 ሽሕ ተኽሊ ማንጉስ ተኺሎም ኣለዉ። እዚ ስፍሓት’ዚ ምስቲ ድሒሩ ዝጥቀስ ቅድሚ ሕጂ ኣብ ልዕሊ 30 ሄክታር ዝተተኽሉ ኣስታት 3000 ተኽሊ ማንጉስ ተደሚሩ ናብ ኣስታት 11 ሽሕ ገረብ ማንጉስ ከብ ኣቢልዎ ይርከብ።

ካልእ ኣብቲ ቦታ ካብ ዝዝርኡ ናይ ቅብኢ ኣዝርእቲ ሓደ ሱፍ እዩ። ንሕና ብስራሕ ኣብ ዝተንቀሳቐስናሉ ኣብ ወርሒ መጋቢት፡ ኣብ ልዕሊ 32 ሄክታር ዓንቢቡ ጽቡቕ ምህርቲ ክህብ ተስፋ ዝተነብረሉ ገለን ቃንጫ ዘርኢ ዝተሰከመ ኣኽሊል ከቢድዎ ቅርጹ ቀይሩ ንመሬት ዝተደፍአ ሱፍ ኢና ድማ ተዓዚብና። ሱፍ ኣብ ከርከበት ክዝራእ እዚ ናይ ፈለማ ኣይኰነን። ጽቡቕ ምህርቲ ዝተሓፍሶ፡ ዓሚን ቅድሚ ዓሚን ተዘሪኡ ነይሩ። ሓንቲ ተኽሊ ሱፍ ክሳብ 5 ኣኽሊል (ፍረ ዝስከም ጉንቦ) ትስከም። ከም ውጽኢት ናይ’ዚ፡ ኣብዘን ዝሓለፋ ክልተ ዓመታት ዘነይት ምህርቲ ከም እተሓፍሶ እቲ ዝረኸብናዮ ሓበሬታ የረድእ። በዚ መሰረት እቲ ቦታ ንሱፍ ኰነ ንኻልኦት ኣዝርእቲ ዝሰማማዕ ፍርያም ምዃኑ ተነጺሩ። ውጽኢቱ ተራእዩን ኣብ ኣለቡ ዝተተኽለት ፋብሪካ ዘይቲ ክትምግብ ብሓደ ወገን፡ ኣብ ከርከበት ናይ ማይ ኰነ ስፍሓት ዝሕረስ መሬት ጸገም ስለ ዘየለ ድማ በቲ ኻልእ፡ ኣብ ቀጻሊ ሱፍ ናይ ምዝራእ ብዝሰፍሐ መልክዑ ክለምዕ መደብ ተታሒዙ ምህላዉ ሓበሬታ ኣቶ ኣስመሮም ኣነጺሩ። ብዘይካ’ዚ ኣብቲ ኣጋጣሚ ኣብ ኣስታት 30 ሄክታር ዝተዘርአ ሽጉርቲን ሰለስተ ግዜ ፍርያቱ ተኣርዩ ራብዓይ ንኽእረ ድልዊ ዝዀነ ከራሚ ጡጥን’ውን ተዓዚብና። ጡጥ ኣብ ከባቢ ከርከበት ኣዝዩ ከም ዝሰማምዖን ናይዚ መርኣያ ኣብ ግዜ መግዛእቲ ኢጣልያ ኣብቲ ከባቢ ብዝሰፍሐ ይፈሪ ምንባሩን ይግለጽ። እዚ ዘርእየና መሬት ከርከበት ዝደለኻዮ ዘሪእካን ተኺልካን እትፈርየሉ ምቹእ ናይ ሕርሻ ቦታ ምዃኑ ኢኻ ትርዳእ።

ኣብ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ምስ ስፍሓት መሬት ዝዛመድ ብዙሓት ሰራሕተኛታት ክህልዉ ትጽበ። ብመሰረት መግለጺ ኣቶ ኣስመሮም፡ ዝበዝሑ ብመንግስቲ ኣብቲ ቦታ ዝተመደቡ ሞያውያን ክዀኑ እንከለዉ፡ እቲ ጉልበት ዝጠልብ ስራሕ ግን፡ ብነበርቲ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢ’ዩ ዝዕመም። ቅድሚ ሕጂ ነበርቲ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢ ናይ ሕርሻ ልምዲ ስራሕ ነይሩዎም ክበሃል ኣይከኣልን። ፕሮጀክት ሕርሻ ከርከበት ድሕሪ ምጅማሩ፡ ተሳትፎን ጠለብን ዓያዪ ጉልበት ኣብ ጻህያይ፡ ኮስኳሳ፡ ማይ ምስታይ፡ ምእራይ ምህርቲን ካልእ ዕማማትን ናይ’ቲ ሕርሻ ካብ ግዜ ናብ ግዜ እናዛየደ ኣብ ዝኸደሉ፡ ብዝሒ ሰራሕተኛታት ክጠልብ ጀሚሩ። ነበርቲ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢ ድማ ብብዝሒ ክሳተፉ ጀሚሮም። በብቚሩብ ልምዲ ስራሕ ሕርሻ ከሕድሩ ድማ ሓጊዙዎም። ከም ውጽኢቱ ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ፡ ወርሓዊ ፍርቂ ኵንታል እኽሊን 500 ናቕፋን እናተኸፍሉ ዝበዝሓ ደቀንስትዮን መንእሰያት ኮተትየን ዝርከብዎም ልዕሊ 500 ሲቭል ሰራሕተኛታት ኣለውዎ። ኣብ ምእካብ ቃንጫ፡ ገሊፍን ጽሬትን ደገፍ ሰራዊት ልምዓት ዕዙዝ ምዃኑ ከይተጠቕሰ ክሕለፍ ዘይብሉ’ዩ።

ባልዓት ኣትክልቲን ኣዝርእቲን ኣብ ሕርሻ ከርከበት (ኣብ ተኽሊ ማንጉስን ካልኦት ኣዝርእቲን) እቲ ቀንድን ኣሸጋርን ኣብ ጥሪን ለካቲትን ዝኽሰት ወራር ኣንበጣ ፣ ኣብ መስከረምን ጥቅምትን ድማ ጋንሸራ ዝበሃሉ ባልዓት እዮም። ብሳልሳይ ደረጃ ዝስርዓ ቅድሚ ሕጂ ኣብቲ ከባቢ ዘይነበራ ምስ ምዕባለ ሕርሻ ከርከበትን ምግራብ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢን ዝተቐልቀላ ኴላ-ኴላ ዝበሃላ ሳገምቲን ሐደገኛታትን ዓሌት ኣዕዋፍ እየን። ኣብ ዝሓለፈ ከረምቲ ልዕሊ 1000 ሄክታር መሸላ ተዘሪኡ’ኳ እንተነበረ፡ ብሰሪ እዘን ዝተጠቕሳ ኣዕዋፍ እቲ ዝድለ ምህርቲ ከም ዘይተሓፈሰ ይግለጽ። መሸላ ብኣዕዋፍ፡ ዕፉን ብመፍለስ፡ ብሰሪ’ዞም ክልተ ተጻባእቲ ኣዝርእቲ፡ ኣብ ሕርሻ ከርከበት እዞም ዝተጠቕሱ ኣዝርእቲ ክዝርኡ ኣዝዩ ኣሸጋሪ ምዃኑ’ዩ ዘርኢ። እዚ ድማ ሓደ ካብ ዓበይቲ ብድሆ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ኰይኑ ዝቕጽል ዘሎ’ዩ። ነዚ ወገን ንምትሓዝ (ንምውጋድ) ዝተታሕዘ መደብ እንተሎ ኣብቲ ኣጋጣሚ ንኣቶ ኣስመሮም ተወኪስናዮ ነይርና።

እቲ ምክትታል መስርሕ ካብ ላዕለዋይ ኣካል ዝጅምር መስርሕ’ኳ እንተሎ፡ ብዓቢኡ ግን፡ ኣብቲ ቦታ ንዝተመደቡ ኣካላት እዩ ዝምልከት። ሎሚ ዓመት፡ ወራር ኣንበጣ ንምክልኻል ብምትሕብባርን ምውህሃድን ምስ ሚኒስትሪ ሕርሻ፡ ውጽኢት ዝተመዝገቦ ስራሕ ተዓሚሙ። ኣብ ሕማማት ኣዝርእቲ ይዅን ኣትክልቲ ፍረታት ግን ምሉእ ብምሉእ ካብቶም ኣብኡ ዘለዉ ክኢላታት ዝሓልፍ ኣይኰነን። እንተ ኣብ ናይ ጨራሩ ኴላ-ኴላ ግን፡ ካብ ብነፈርቲ ወጻኢ ብኻልእ ሜላ ንምክልኻል ዝከኣል ኣይኰነን።

ጻህያይ፡ ምህርቲ ካብ ዘጉድሉ ባእታታት ሓደ’ዩ። ከርከበት ድማ ቦዱ ቦታ ከም ምዃኑ መጠን፡ ጻህያይ ብቐሊሉ ክትቈጻጸሮ ዝከኣል ኣይኰነን። ምእንቲ’ዚ፡ ጻህያይ ኣብ ኣዝርእቲ ዘውርዶ ሃስያ ኣቃሊልካ ዝርአ ምስ ዘይምዃኑ፡ ሓያል ጻዕሪን ብዙሕ ጉልበትን ዝሓትት ከቢድ ዕማም’ዩ ኣብቲ ቦታ። ነዚ፡ ኣብቲ ከባቢ ዝነብር ሰብ ብምውፋር፡ ንምቍጽጻሩ ከም ዝፍተን ይሕበር። ብዘይካ’ዚ ጻህያይ ንምቊጽጻር ኣብ ናይ ኣዘራርኣን ማይ ምስታይን ዝውሰን ዝጥቀምሉ ካልእ ኣገባብ እውን ኣሎ። ንሱ ኸኣ፡ ማይ ኣብ ናይ ምስታይ መስርሕ፡ መስኖኣዊ ኣገባብ (Dripp­ping) ምጥቃም፡ ጻዕቂ ጻህያይ ኣብ ምጕዳል ካብ ዝሕግዙ ፍቱናት ሜላታት ሓደ እዩ። ስለ ዝኾነ፡ እዚ ኣገባብ ክሰፍሕ ለበዋ ናይ ዝበዝሑ ዘዘራረብናዮም ኣባላት ሕርሻ ከርከበት ኰይኑ ረኺብናዮ።

ምንጪ ፈልሲ ኣግራብ ፍረታትን ኣሕምልትን ካበይ’ዩ? ክንፈልጥ ንኣቶ ኣስመሮም ሓቲትናዮ። ማንጉስን ኣራንሺን ካብ ዒላበርዒድ፡ ገርሰትን ሓልሓለን፣ ሽጉርትን ኮሚደረን ድማ ካብ ኣፍ-ሂምቦል ምዃኑ ድማ ገሊጹልና።

ከርከበት፡ ተጓዒዝካ ኣይኰነን ዓይንኻ ጠሚትካ’ውን ዘይውዳእ (ዘይብጻሕ) ሰፊሕን ሌጣን ጐልጎል እዩ። ልዕሊ 15 ሽሕ ሄክታር ክለምዕ ዝኽእል መሬት ከኣ ኣለዎ። ካብዚ ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ ዝለምዐ ቦታ፡ 110 ሄክታር ማንጉስ፡ ልዕሊ 30 ሄክታር ሽጉርቲ፡ ልዕሊ 10 ሄክታር ኮሚደረ፡ ኣስታት 32 ሄክታር ሱፍ፡ ልዕሊ 30 ሄክታር ድማ ጡጥ - እዚ ኩሉ ተደሚሩ ኣስታት 200 ሄክታር ጥራይ’ዩ። ዝተረፈ ኣሽሓት ሄክታር ብሕጂ ክለምዕ ዝጽበ ዘሎ’ዩ። እዚ፡ ኣብ መጻኢ ኣብቲ ከባቢ ርሒብ ባይታ ልምዓት ተነጺፉ ምህላዉ፡ ግን ድማ ሓያል ጻዕሪ ዝሓትት ምዃኑ’ዩ ዘርኢ።

ከርከበትን ከባቢኡን፡ እቲ ቐደም፡ ኣዝዩ ጸሓያዊ ህሮሩማን ካምሲንን ዘይፍለዮ፡ እቲ’ኳ ጸዊዕካ መልሲ ዝህብ ሰብ ዘይትረኽበሉ ምድረ-በዳን ኣጻምእን ዝነበረ ቦታ፡ ኣብዚ እዋን ብዝተፈላለዩ ኣግራብ ማዕሪጉ ናብ ገነት ተለዊጡ፣ ስግኣት ዘይብሉ ህይወት ዝመርሑ ብቐትሪን ለይቲን ወዛሕዛሕ ዝብሉ ዝተፈላለዩ እንስሳታት ዝረኣዩሉ፣ ሰበኽ ሳግም ህይወት ዝነበሮ ህዝቢ ናይ’ቲ ከባቢ ናብራ ገልጠምጠም ቀደሙ ራሕሪሑ፡ ረጊኡን ዓልዩዎን ዓዲ ደኲኑ ክነብር እንክርኢ፣ ቀደም ነቲ ቦታ ዝፈልጦ ሰብ ንኽኣምን እንተተጸገመ ነውሪ ኣይቍጸረሉን። እዚ ለውጢ ንኽመጽእ፡ ከቢድ ሰብኣዊ ጉልበትን ዘይተኣደነ ጸጋ ሃገርን ከም ዝፈሰሶ ድማ መብርሂ ዝምልከቶ ኣይትጽበየሉን።

ሕርሻ ማንጉስ ኣብ ከርከበት

ኣባል27 ዙርያ ሃገራዊ ኣገልግሎት መንእሰይ ሓድሽ መኮነን፡ ኣብ 2016 ሞያዊ ትምህርቲ ክቐስም ካብ ሓይልታት ተሳሒቡ ናብ ዓዲ ሃሎ ኣትዩ። ኣብ ዓዲ ሃሎ ሓደ ዓመት ተማሂሩ ኣብ 2017 ብዓውዲ ስነ-ኣዝርእቲ (Agronomy) ብሰርቲፊኬት ድሕሪ ምምራቑ፡ ብዝተመረቕኩሉ ዓውዲ ከገልግል ናብ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ተመዲቡ። ኣብዚ ሕጂ እዋን ድማ ከም ክኢላን ሓላፊን ሓደ ነቚጣ ገረብ ማንጉስ ኰይኑ ይነጥፍ ኣሎ።

መንእሰይ ሓድሽ ዝከታተሎ ሕርሻ ማንጉስ ኣብ ሰነ 2017 ክትከል ጀሚሩ። ናብቲ ቦታ ክምደብ እንከሎ ወዲ ሓደ ወርሒ’ዩ ጸኒሕዎ። ሓድሽ ኣብ ዓዲ ሃሎ ተማሂሩ ዝተመረቐሉ ዓውዲ ሕርሻ ይዅን’ምበር፡ “ስራሕካ ተኽሊ ማንጉስ ምክንኻን’ዩ” ምስተባህለ’ዩ ብዛዕባ’ቲ ቅድሚኡ እዋን ዝዀነ ኣፍልጦ ዘይነበሮ ማንጉስ ክፈልጥን ክርዳእን ዝኸኣለ። ስራሕካ’ዩ ምስተባህለ ግን ብኽፉት ልቢ ተቐቢሉ ብዛዕባ ባህርያት ናይ’ቲ ተኽሊ ፍሩታ ኣብ ሓጺር ግዜ ዝኣክል ተመኵሮ ከጥሪ ክኢሉ። ኣብዚ እዋን ከኣ ሓላፊ ናይ’ቲ ኣብ ኣስታት 30 ሄክታር ዝለምዐ ነቚጣ ገረብ ማንጉስ ብምዃን የገልግል ኣሎ።

ኣግራብ ማንጉስ ከርከበት፡ ንዓና’ውን ዕንባባን ጽገን ኰይኖም’ዮም ጸኒሖምና። ግንቦትን ሰነን ምህርቲ ማንጉስ ዝእረየሉ ኣዋርሕ’ዩ - ብመሰረት ሓበሬታ መንእሰይ ሓድሽ።

ከም ግቡእ፡ ኣብ ኣተኻኽላ ገረብ ማንጉስ፡ ኣብ መንጎ ነፍሲ-ወከፍ ተኽሊ ናይ 10 ሜትሮ ተፈናቲትቱ ክትከል ኣለዎ። እዚ ማለት ኣብ ሄክታር 100 ኣግራብ ክህልዉ ይግባእ። ኣብ ሕርሻ ከርከበት ካብ ቅድሚ 3 ዓመታት ጀሚሮም ምህርቲ ኣብ ምሃብ ዝበጽሑ፡ ኣብ ኣስታት 30 ሄክታር ልዕሊ 2800 ገረብ ማንጉስ ኣለዉ። በቲ ግቡእ 3000 ገረብ ክዀኑ ነይሩዎም፣ መፍለስ ስለ ዘሎ እቲ ቊጽሪ ናይቶም ኣግራብ ናብ’ዚ ዝተጠቕሰ ከም ዝወረደ መንእሰይ ሓድሽ ይገልጽ።
