We have a sitting president whose brain regresses anticlockwise.
Over 15 Air Force personnel died in a helicopter crash. Tinubu sent a condolence tweet and stayed locked up, with no physical presence, zero empathy, no compassion. 💔😭
Peter Obi was live at the Air Force Base to tender condolences, a leader who understands the need to honor our fallen heroes for their selfless sacrifices.
Choose your leader wisely guys!
I have said this before, and I believe it is important to remind Nigerians of my position as we approach 2027.
Peter Obi has my support for the presidency.
But my position is clear, I am not supporting the idea of Peter Obi becoming somebody else’s Vice President.
The day Peter Obi accepts a Vice Presidential position, I will walk away from his corner. I have said this plainly, and I stand by it.
My concern is not about personalities. It is about the kind of leadership Nigeria needs and the direction in which we want our country to go.
I have also argued that we should begin to rethink the age of those seeking executive office. The Nigerian presidency should not become a retirement home for politicians.
I believe there should be a serious national conversation about limiting presidential and gubernatorial candidates to those aged 70 or below.
Nigeria needs leadership that is focused on the future, not simply another cycle of political succession.
These are principles I have stated publicly, and Nigerians should judge them for themselves.
Video 📹;
After watching his excellency peter Obi’s interview this evening all I can say is BIG shame on the government of Anambra state….. for real, Chukwudandy Charles soludo deserves some serious cleansing🥺💔 and surely has a lot to answer!
I will like to thank you all for your messages of support and calls too numerous to respond to.
I am embarrassed and emboldened by your love!
A lot of people ask what is my conviction in fighting for a better Nigeria and I tell them history!
I have read through the times of Pa Michael Imodu and the 1945 strike and I saw the betrayal he faced from fellow Nigerians he fought for.
Some Nigerians and the National Youth Movement sided with the colonial government over Pa.Imodu, the Daily Service, a newspaper wrote a lot of scathing articles against Pa. Imodu, the Nigerian Conservative elite the benefitted from the colonial government sided against the Nigerian workers but Pa .Imodu was dogged! Even the workers he fought for, stood against him and sided with their oppressors, the colonial masters! Like we all know, It takes a trained mind to see oppression, a lot of people side with their own oppressors!
I am not surprised that people support the evil and ills of society because it benefits them. There’s a convenience about not talking when you have a morsel of Eba in your mouth!
For me my convictions are clear, the Love of Country, God and welfare of the left behind are my priorities! For those benefitting from the ruination of Nigeria, we will never agree and we ought not to. My convictions will always be about the betterment of my country, I am human and I don’t see my self as better than Pa.Imodu or any other patriot but I have always argued that my country is worth speaking up for, and I know the forces of special interests is transient. I am happy to be in this moment of history and there is no place I will rather be, than at this inflection point of national consciousness.
I am not here to impress you or agree with you but here to speak to the betterment of a country so blessed but so poor. I am not perfect, I will make my mistakes, I will surprise myself, sometimes otherwise, I will have my ups and downs but I can always assure you that the priority to speak truth to power will be my strength!
I am not oblivious of those that benefit from the ruination of our country, I leave them to their conscience if they have one but for me I will continue to be in the vanguard of helping the poor and amplifying the conversations!
I DEY KAMPE!!!!!
I LOVE YOU!
This gesture is widely recognized as a discreet way for someone to signal they need help, allowing victims to ask for assistance without drawing attention.
Be on the lookout!
“You’re too small to ever have a child.”
That’s the sentence my husband left behind when he packed his bags.
I was born with dwarfism.
When doctors told us I couldn’t carry children, he decided that meant I couldn’t be a mother at all.
He walked out. I stayed. I signed the divorce papers alone in a silent apartment that still smelled like him.
For a while, I believed the silence.
Then one afternoon, I walked into a shelter.
In the corner of the room was a crib most people passed without stopping. Inside it — a one-year-old Black baby girl. Left at birth. No visitors. No one asking about her.
I picked her up.
She wrapped her tiny fingers around mine and didn’t cry.
That was it.
I signed the papers. I took Naomi home.
People stared at us.
They whispered.
They asked how I would carry her.
I carried her everywhere.
On buses.
Up staircases.
Through grocery stores and doctor’s appointments.
Through every hard year and every beautiful one.
And Naomi? She ran.
She ran faster than doubt.
Faster than the stares.
Faster than every limitation someone once placed on our family.
She grew into a track-and-field champion.
I stood in the crowd, watching her step onto podiums I never imagined we would reach.
I couldn’t bring a child into this world.
But I brought love into hers.
And somehow, I became the mother of the strongest girl in the world.
MEMO TO @officialABAT on MATTER OF SENATOR @NatashaAkpoti .
The latest act of State Capture by your administration is to collude for reasons of political gain, with the accused Senate President - to silence and repress a citizen who has made serious allegations against him for which he refuses to surrender himself to independent investigation and fair hearing.
In this case, with your evident approval, the Executive and Legislative arms of Government are about to once again abuse and violate the Judiciary in a flagrant act of impunity against one out of only 4 women Senators in our country. What a shame!
The criminal charges filed by the Federal Government @NigeriaGov against Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan is an act of gross irresponsibility, illegality, and irrationality. You must take responsibility for this desecration of our Democracy.
But you, @officialABAT can walk back from this latest scandal and terminate this egregious violation of the rights of Senator Akpoti- Uduaghan immediately.
Four things:
1. Please reign in and discipline your Attorney General who is obviously not busy with the important legal reforms necessary for the economic and political progress of the country.
2. Specifically instruct the Attorney General to on the 3rd of June, withdraw that wrongheaded, frivolous and dangerous criminal charges against a woman crying out for fair hearing on her sexual harassment case. Your government must stop making a mockery of our democracy in the eyes of the world.
3. Instruct the Police IG whom you supervise as C-in-C to immediately investigate all the 12 petitions filed by Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan over the last 3 months on fears for her life. After due investigations, the @PoliceNG must move immediately to impartially take the next appropriate actions.
4. Instruct the IG of Police to immediately reinstate Senator @NatashaAkpoti ‘s security personnel which the Senate President ordered withdrawn in a petty act of retaliation, intimidation and gross abuse of power against Senator Akpoti -Uduaghan for daring to allege that he sexually harassed her.
As my mother used to say, “A word is sufficient for the wise” and wisdom is ever profitable to direct.
It is a Choice and every Choice has consequences.
Will you choose wisdom on this matter , @officialABAT or ……. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾
@ChidiOdinkalu@HonBago In a state full of out of school kids and insecurity, dreadlocks are his priority. Does he know what he is proposing is against the law? What a clown!
