Today the Westside had a very bad day.

They scoffed when they were informed that people living in their streets used to live inside in their neighborhoods.

They mocked the rabbi who reminded them they were in a house of worship.

Some wore blue tape under their noses that reminded some of Hitler mustaches.

They do not want homeless people on their sidewalks and for damn sure they don't want them housed, even temporarily, in their district.

Today the Westside flaunted all the stereotypical elements the Westside often gets chided for: being heartless, selfish, unneighborly, NIMBY, and crass.

Maybe the Mayor should set up her Inside Safe HQ in West LA and start converting all those empty storefronts in Westwood Village with shelters since vacant shops seem to be super cool to so many?
