Health Minister @celliottability just announced the passing of Cathy Fooks: Cathy dedicated her life to public service & to improving the quality of health care in our province β all with the single-minded focus of enhancing the experience of patients, families & their caregivers
Cathy Fooks words cannot express how much we appreciate you and how much we miss you. Truly heartbroken π Rest in Peace β€οΈ My mentor, leader and friend.
Friend & Mentor: Cathy Fooks. I'm devastated. This send-off in June as you took on the role of @patientombuds was not meant to be our last. You empowered those around you, broke barriers and never lost sight of the goal to make meaningful change. We will never forget you. RIP
It's with deep sadness we announce the tragic passing of Cathy Fooks, our Patient Ombudsman. We are sharing a message approved by Cathy's family https://t.co/kdI76bYkSx
A great leader is one who brings out the best in others. @Cathy_Fooks thank you for leading with empathy. Expressing both my gratitude and appreciation for your guidance, encouragement and support. You really made an impact in my life. Will miss you! @TheChangeFdn #TYCF
Ditto @JodemeGoldhar Great to join into the virtual session convened by @Design4AHS and hearing @helenbevan highlight change agency and the importance in thinking about the language we use and dynamics it perpetuates
@snewbery1@CFMSFEMC@SolidFooting Great job Sarah! Explaining and demonstratating the how is very important as it shapes the individual's self efficacy to perform the behaviour. Excellent example of health communication and observational learning. When I had did my practicum in IPAC this was my project's focus
@upshur_ross Great observation- the dotted line will differ and is variable depending on which system is being referred to. I appreciate as a health communication tool how it is being used to promote awareness and try to shift behavior. Though there are ceavats to that as well
