📍 Location: Babusapalya Bus Stand, Outer Ring Road, towards Teen Factory, Kalyan Nagar.

Looking at the speed breakers constructed on both sides of the Ring Road, one can easily understand how “scientifically” they have been built.

Cement has simply been poured from a mixer vehicle and a speed breaker of approximately 15–20 feet in length has been constructed directly on the road. There appears to be no proper design, standard dimensions, or adequate consideration for road safety and smooth traffic movement.

Perhaps this is the “new scientific method of road construction” according to the concerned officials and responsible staff!

These unscientific speed breakers are affecting the smooth movement of vehicles and are contributing to heavy traffic congestion while also increasing the risk of accidents.

I request the concerned authorities to immediately inspect the location, remove the unsafe construction, and install a properly designed and standard-compliant speed breaker wherever required.

Road safety is not a matter to be taken lightly. Such construction needs proper accountability and timely corrective action.

A boy said he went to Kalyan railway station in Maharashtra to drop his family off for their train. The train was originally scheduled to leave at 12 noon, but later they were told it would arrive at 2 PM.

He had bought a platform ticket and waited with his family. However, the train kept getting delayed. Around 5 PM, when he was helping his family board the train and was about to leave, a TTE stopped him and asked for his platform ticket.

He showed the ticket, but the TTE told him that a platform ticket is valid only for 2 hours. Since more than 2 hours had passed, he was fined ₹500.

The boy then raised a simple question: if the train was delayed for several hours because of the railway, why should the passenger be held responsible for staying at the station?

He had purchased a valid platform ticket and was only there to drop his family.

If the delay was caused by the railway, shouldn’t there be some consideration for passengers and their families who are forced to wait longer?

It raises a genuine question about whether passengers should be fined when they remain at the station because of a railway delay.
