No it will have to adapt imo.

AI will have to change project management and project delivery as the wider profession. Bent Flyvbjerg’s paper on Harvard Business Review showed that only 0.5% of major projects are delivered on time, on budget and on benefits.

The problem with PM is that the role is heavy on stakeholder management - so communication is king. Whilst the information you present is key, how you report is important and AI currently lacks the emotional resonance seen in human dialogue. This is until we can imbue personalities into agents.

For now, AI is better placed in projects controls and risk management (variance analysis) which are heavier on the data.
