लागला. विरोधकांच्या प्रश्नांना सामोरं जाण्याऐवजी सभागृहाचं कामकाज
टाळण्याचा मार्ग स्वीकारावा लागला आणि शेवटच्या दिवशी तर अवघ्या
काही मिनिटात तहकुबीचा उपचार पूर्ण करून पळ काढावा लागला.

ही केवळ एका अधिवेशनाची गोष्ट नाही; ही मजबूत आणि आक्रमक
विरोधी पक्षाची ताकद दाखवणारी घटना आहे.

**विरोधी पक्षाची संसदेत दहशत असली पाहिजे, ती अशी!**

सत्ताधाऱ्यांना जनतेच्या प्रश्नांवर उत्तरं द्यायला भाग पाडणं, महत्त्वाचे मुद्दे
संसदेत सातत्याने उपस्थित करणं आणि सरकारला जाब विचारणं हीच
खऱ्या अर्थाने लोकशाहीतील विरोधी पक्षाची भूमिका आहे. राहुल
गांधींनी ही भूमिका अधिक आक्रमकपणे आणि सातत्याने मांडण्याचं
काम केलं आहे.

याआधी अनेक विरोधी पक्षनेते संसदेत होते; पण सत्ताधाऱ्यांना अशा
प्रकारे सतत घेरण्याचं आणि त्यांना बचावात्मक भूमिकेत आणण्याचं
चित्र क्वचितच पाहायला मिळालं.

आज राहुल गांधींच्या नेतृत्वाखाली विरोधकांची एकजूट आणि
आक्रमकता स्पष्टपणे जाणवते. संसद ही केवळ सत्ताधाऱ्यांची जागा
नाही, तर **देशातील प्रत्येक नागरिकाचा आवाज मांडण्याचं सर्वोच्च
व्यासपीठ आहे.**

त्या व्यासपीठावर जनतेचे प्रश्न निर्भीडपणे मांडले जात असतील,
सरकारला प्रश्न विचारले जात असतील आणि सत्तेला जाब विचारला
जात असेल, तर तीच खरी लोकशाहीची ताकद आहे.

भारतीय संसदीय इतिहासात हा प्रसंग एक वेगळा अध्याय म्हणून
नोंदवला जावा.
