Congrats! So glad to have @hadleywickham and all the other great people in the R community. Just started dipping into tidyverse, also reading Advanced R 2nd edition, no doubt I will benefit immensely from it. Big thanks!
Please, someone go and find more concrete evidence! Finding the origin of this virus is extremely important to the whole world. Don't indulge in conspiracy, embrace the truth! https://t.co/K2f0LLUx1L
Now I can see way more tweets talking about the Coronavirus. That is a good trend for sure. Being alert is different from being panic. Hope the virus can be effectively contained globally so that people worldwide can suffer less.
@kara_woo .First <- function() {

} Write the current time into the history log everytime I start R.
It is just to natural for me to enjoy the beauty of fresh snow and suffer the messy of thawing. I am oblivious to the fact that snowing is quite a unique or even luxury experience for someone to have. I love the crispy sound of treading on fresh snow, pure satisfaction.
Me: Each time I spent days to work out an easy formula read from a paper, I doubted myself, am I qualified to do research in such a math intensive area? Still me: It is a good question. Shut up and derive.
Must-see TV series in 2019, especially for people with psychological background. Excellent story and thought provoking topic. We people today are overly spoiled by technology and ensnared in misinformation. Internet bullying is everywhere. No one is perfect, but we can be better.
I personally see RR as a good way to unveil the previously filtered out part of the underlying distribution of social science due to publication bias. Hope RR can go further and make it a better scientific world! @chrisdc77

@drrachelbrenner @R4DScommunity To add:
the lavaan package https://t.co/a0QGe39ghl
and Mplusautomation package
https://t.co/inBkULp10Y
can be very helpful if you are looking for alternatives for Mplus in R.
Also, there is a Google group for lavaan, you can get great help there.

@drrachelbrenner @R4DScommunity 2/2 There are multiple reasons to learn R:
- Amazing community
- It's free
- It can do almost everything SPSS & Mplus can do
- It can do many things SPSS & Mplus can't do
- Your current work-flow can be completely automated from importing data to writing report
Archetypal quandary for academia. Make sense only if everyone is slowing down. The lack of work-life balance is, of course, not therapeutic, but to tackle, a systematic solution is needed.

Wait a minute, isn't it common sense that we should use the same method when comparing two things? I can understand that knowing species are as intelligent as we human being would be scary for now, but come on, you guys are scientists!

I don't remember where did I read this, but it echoed vociferously with my experience:
"Sometime I feel that my idea has being stuck in my mind for so long that it becomes stale."
The saddest part of doing research.
