@prasanna_s However, as per Articles 82 and 170 delimitation is tied to the “last preceding census of which the relevant figures have been published.” Therefore, for constitutional purposes, "conducted" could refer to a census cycle as a whole not the mere start of preliminary phases.

@TweetinderKaul The bill sought to Fast track demilitation from 2034 to 2029. Delimitation is bound to happen post 2029 basis 2026 census, but why would the opposition shoot themselves in the head by accepting the 2011 census as a basis for delimitation for 2029 election.
