@Rusia_HD All of those examples are cases where both shores are within one state, Hormuz is divided between Iran and Oman. Iran is indeed entitled to impose fee on its sector, its territorial waters. It cannot however force Oman to do the same, or collect fee for use Omani waters.

🇦🇿🇦🇲 Water is turning into the next major flashpoint between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Aliyev keeps calling Lake Sevan by its Azerbaijani name "Göycha" and talking about Azerbaijanis "returning" to historic lands.

Karabakh was just the opening move.

Armenia's PM Pashinyan now says water will be his top priority for the next 5 years, and he's right to be worried.

Azerbaijan loses up to 50% of its water through sheer mismanagement, and that pressure has to go somewhere.

In a region where the last two wars were fought over land, the next one could easily be fought over water.

It wouldn't be the first time in history. It won't be the last.
